I’m going to get myself in trouble for saying this, but the closest thing you can compare GOLD to is: DR + Chosen + the virtuous parts of HERO w/ a bit from Limitless. All directed toward the refinement of the self to obtain wisdom.

Is it fair to say that running GOLD gets “deep enough” to take care of the objectives of RED also? Or definitely just 2 separate paths?
Is it just me , or did the first thing that was popping in your mind is Pokemon RED and pokemon GOLD?

The paths do overlap, but they have differing outcomes and the scripts are different. GOLD is built upon the RED framework, but it’s still geared toward a different result.
I’d recommend starting with RED unless you more you each to go the direction GOLD offers.

I see those as two completely separate products.
Aha no wonder why I’m not feeling like there’s a difference, I just feel like the effects of the mental and archetypal scripting of my last custom at a higher level, which had Chosen + Hero + RoS as the main three cores (and LoTS for the gym), so you saying that kinda makes sense as to why this one seemed more like my “type” compared to the RED variant.
Which brings me to my next question, should I stack the stage 1 with the aforementioned custom? Or would that be unwise without first letting the script breathe a bit more?
Cause the way I see it, if the custom is good enough to be compared to DRG, then it can also be good enough to complement DRG.
Edit: this is the custom in question, which I’ve been running for the last few days (more like a week now)

I’d say to test it first. Honestly, if you’re an advanced user with a lot of insight into your emotions, GOLD is probably a smooth ride, so you MAY be able to use it in this custom. Give it about a week of testing.
