learning is a process that requires consistency and dedication.it takes time and efforts…people oftentimes will stop learning new skillsets or knowledge due to the self exerting pressure and high mental demand…but people could easily spend hours upon hours on video game…so what makes it happen ?a video game usually is carefully crafted with series mechanism to hook people in…
what if,the learning process adopts a similar process ?
while remaining the feature of maximizing the user‘s current level of cognitive abilities,an extra focus on developing a set of learning habits ,helping the user to have positive feeling during the learning process, building positive feedback loop…cultivating a sense of achievement will definitely be beneficial
secondly, expanding the understanding of learning both horizontally and vertically will help the listeners to see the real gains from the knowledge acquisition.
on the vertical side,to develop a long term thinking ,being able to see what a skillset/subject will be helpful to their life could increase the motivation and desire to put in the efforts
On the horizontal front, being able to see how one skillsets could benefit multiple areas of life would also increase the likelihood of consistent investment of energy…
that is what I could think of for now…
