Time to order Shapes v8 - Chapter III (with AEON St. 3). I will try KB St. 3 instead of KB St. 4 in it. As AEON gives a certain level of control and KB4 has been in use for years now, I have the feeling, that the raw energy level is the next step to improve.
After the endless raving reviews for the New Wanted, I tried it in my stack, contemplating to put it into Shapes with AEON and KB.
That’s not working at all with SLoNK.
Totally work-focussed SLoNK and WANTED battle it out. It was an interesting experience to feel both streams at the same time. (it still wasn’t recon as I know it, just strong impulses to flirt/relax and work hard, focussed at the same time.)
Won’t try this again.

So next cycle will be SHAPES v8.III, The Sudden Lighting of Nishiki Kamuro and Dragon Rising: Regeneration.
DR: Regeneration is on many levels extraordinary.
It was an impulse buy on one of the last listening days of this cycle. Already listened to my stack in the morning, tried DR:R in the evening.
I sometimes try different, additional programs on the last evening of listening day, so if it is just too much, taxing I’ll be going to washout anyway. (A bit like the Marvel midcredit scenes.) It was e.g. way too much with E:E the first time.
It didn’t happen with Regeneration even though it is a relatively dense and a healing program. On the contrary, I kinda feel, like this cycle should be a bit longer and including DR:R. (Again strange: I got a new custom with BL:ITW waiting to be tested.)
Looking back it is kinda fascinating how SC and the results from the subs have developed over the years.
In the beginning results were very slow for me.
After 6-7 years of continouos use one of course gets intune with SC subs and a lot of baggage has been cleaned out.
But the developments since ZP2 feel like godspeed with NSE, anti-recon and now GLM and Regeneration which is… something else completely.

Not advocating sub hopping, but given that results come quicker, easier and more permanent (probably due to the skill scripting) and they develop in cycles with each following cycle being a bit more subtle than the last, it might make sense to go for a limited number of cycles before switching to another goal/subject for maximum effect.
On the other hand, the last 20% always make up 80% of work. Probably true here too.
I sometimes get the feeling that the anticipation of recon is one of its strongest roots.
A bit like with experiencing pain.
First impressions from the new SHAPES v8 - Chapter III:
Slowly getting a feeling for AEON, especially with the healing aspects and time perception. The Grind flies by without much fuss or boredom, the good times get a lot more memory space. A bit like editing your life in real time. Fascinating. Sleep is incredibly restful. It clicks very well with E:E.
First time KB3 instead of KB4 in Shapes custom for a while now. In the past there often came up waves of aggression with KB3 and not enough activity, that’s not the case now. Will propably keep KB3 for the next iterations to streamline the scriptload a bit.
With Beyond Limitless: Into the Wonder I feel a growing sense of curiosity. While Limitless felt mostly like a cognitive skill sub, BL:ITW seems to start with a change in approach and perspectives which makes total sense.
Very much looking forward to the post-EoG iteration of The Sudden Lighting of Nishiki Kamuro featuring E:E, NRICH and BL:ITW, but there is still a bit of wealth ceiling to tear down first.
I’ll update all 3 customs after the december release wave.

Are you planning to add Synergy: Iron Law in this custom? Or was the Synergy in a previous SHAPES custom?
I tried both in the past and Stonelike is what I need to handle work stress. Might come back to the Synergy later though.
Really looking forward to the december release wave. Will rebuild all the costums for 2026. I hope that this will become a SC tradition, especially if a module pack (and sometimes a free sub) is released too. It’s the time of contemplation, everyone has a bit more money and prepares with good intentions (and great subs) for the new year.
Not to derail the Regeneration thread I will try to sort through my thoughts a bit more here and maybe explain how I get to the last couple of paragraphs.
The NSE was, after ZP, the second true gamechanger for me regarding subs. Taking something as a skill, gives the whole concept a permanency and accessibility I never experienced before. In the old days (2019-21) it was really a bit more like an immersive concept: I listened to Q and Ultimas and like a good book or film I would carry the vibe, the archetype and the spirit for a while. Some pieces I could keep, but most faded after a while.
That has all changed, especially with the healing elements of Regeneration and EoG1. Truly phenomenal and lifechanging. With the new Regeneration scripting subs are still a lot of work (internally), a lot more than one probably does realize.
What happens when you’ve (by your own standards) mastered a skill with the NSE?
There are IMO some subs that one can run easily maybe even ideally open ended (like Khan Black, AR: AEON, Legacy of the Spartan or actual skill subs aiming for mastery in your craft or discipline like the whole RM line, the Weapon X series or R.I.C.H. Trader) but something like AoH: You e. g. learn to let go. If you can do it, you can do it. Or Primal Nights and Love Bomb if you can make someone… happy you can make someone happy. After that, IMO just getting into the right mood is the only thing left.
It’s a bit like the fish.
Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day.
Teach a man how to fish and he can eat for a lifetime.
But you don’t have to teach him over and over how to fish
even if fishing is an ongoing theme of his life.
(It’s a bit of a crooked metaphor for this context.)
Something like MDFY:NOW + a light core or just one module would be great for that.
I’ll revisit all this in a couple of weeks.
There are a lot of aspects influencing my thinking and emotions right now: Part is definitely the heavy lifting the subconscious did with Regeneration. Still all settling down. Curiously it is not a washout I am yearning (which would normally be the case) for but just enjoying the stuff I/it worked for. Another aspect that might play into it: I kinda hate it when people explain stuff to me, that I already know. Of course completely different context.
All this needs more reflexion.
Very curious how a second cycle of Regeneration in a couple of months will feel like.
Reached AEON IV.
It feels different to the other stages, can’t put into words how or why. This needs way more time to fully bloom I guess.
It will stay in Shapes for the forseeable future.
Overall: I will rebuild all three subs this month with the new drops (especially keen on the ESSENCE modules to complete these customs). This stack stays for 6 months. (The customs will get upgrades if ZPU is finalized.)
Reevaluation will be done in July 2026.

SLoNK v5 is heavier than former iterations. A bit of recon, but nothing a banana shake and a bit training won’t resolve.It will take a bit of time to get fully accustomed to it.
I will wait with ordering Shapes v9 - Chapter IV til KB and/or Diamond are updated.
I have the same “re-wiring” feeling with BLITZ (and Limitless: RAIKOV?) like I had with Limitless. Tired, a bit downbeat, a lot going on under the hood. Took me 2-3 weeks with Limitless to properly get going.
Man, this wealth ceiling/scarcity shit has deep roots.
Still got EoG St. 1 in a custom (now continously for 1 year listening to it). I still feel it loosening/dissolving. (a lot “under it” is already gone, but still a way to go.)
Looking forward to an eventually upgraded EoG with anti-recon.

Pretty much nailed all submodules after 1+ year of use. The last entry was probably a kind of goodbye to a lot of the scarcity shit.
Maybe I am ready for EoG2.
It is important to understand subs as tools that gives you more agency, not take it away.
They are not magic wands that zap you hot or RICH, but help you clear all the possible roads to your goals. Still have to choose and take a road, and some maybe shouldn’t be taken, they might be long and winded. Choosing the right one is still on you. Walking is still on you.
Really love RAIKOV & BLITZ, but I get more and more to the conclusion, that I should concentrate on building a proper empire first.
