As mentioned in another post (not sure where lol), my basic perspective is that a human being, at least while in physical reality, has some basic areas that need to be balanced.
In my case I think the three most needed were sexuality, work/finance (and this should possibly coincide with my general direction), and social skills.
I was quite spiritually focused when I first started using SC and have been for several years, to the point of neglecting other areas and then finding myself feeling out of balance.
Seeing sexuality as an extremely powerful energy on a physical level, after a year of general treatment with DR, I started using first Primal and Wanted and now PS and Wanted.
There is certainly still work to be done in this area but, probably also because I recently added AM as a third title, Iām realizing that the second area I listed is starting to require more and more attention.
My thoughts often revolve around that, even with some anxiety about its urgency.
Iāve never had a clear direction about it, being interested in a multitude of things but not dedicating myself to anything in particular to the exclusion of other things (could probably also be labeled as some sort of mild ADHD).
Today, I find myself having a shop that sells something that I donāt have a particular interest in and that Iām considering selling it in order to find an outlet more in line with my person.
Three topics I have devoted the most time to in my life are:
-
Music: I started in middle school studying music with a classical instrument, and then later switched to guitar and bass. At a professional level I see music as something in line with me and to which I would happily devote my energies.
-
Martial arts: I started at the age of 7. I have always been interested not only in the physical part but also in oriental philosophy, hence also the approach over the years to spirituality (mainly Buddhism and Taoism).
I donāt see it as a very feasible job outlet, mainly because the area in which I have dedicated myself the most, my passion, is not known/widespread and the situation does not seem to have improved in recent years -
Spirituality: I still see it as the area that should include and express itself in all the others. Keep coming back to it as the main meaning of life, often during difficult times
It is difficult for me to think of it as a possible work per se, but precisely as something that is expressed in the totality of life. -
Electronics/tech: this was the area of choice in high school. Inside my shop Iām still the only one who follows the part dedicated to online sales, which includes some web development skills etc.
Web developer is something I see as a possible future job, and in a way more realistic than the other three above. Iām not sure though that Iād get tired of it in the long run.
90% of what was described above was self-taught, I dont have a degree and Iām currently in my late 30s, these things creates a kind of brake in me from throwing myself in one direction or the other.
Iām grateful that my bank account balance isnāt bad at the moment, however I feel the need to have clear direction and one that Iām passionate about.
As I said the title Iām currently using, along with PS and Wanted, is AM.
However, I would like to know from more experienced friends here on the forum if they think it is the best title for a situation like mine, if something else would be better, etcā¦
If possible I would like to continue using the other two titles, in order not to abandon and deepen the results already obtained.
