So yep. The older lady I started with at the job just got let go today.
So at my job, I’m the only guy on the 8-hour Sunday shift. Email tickets and phone calls.
I had my Youtube playlist of “focus songs” going as I usually do on Sundays.
Typically, once I knock out emails from the night before, I’ll keep the playlist going while I read or whatever.
Today, I got tickets done earlier than usual (weren’t that many). But suddenly, I’m like “I need to immerse myself in actual educational stuff and not listen to music all shift!”
So I’m watching a Hormozi video now.

This might be the newer money/wealth stuff at work…but I got a result a couple days ago when paying for the room.
Waiting for the girl to count out the cash to make sure it’s what I told her it should be.
I’d kinda been lamenting how expensive the room can be, but since we don’t have enough $ to live in a “real” house or apartment (which would indeed be cheaper once we got in), we’re “stuck” here
It isn’t really bad of course. like $2K+/month to be here.
And I’d been lamenting also how I can’t save $ very well by being here…saving to have enough to get moved into a “real” place as a consequence.
Then suddenly, while waiting for her to count the cash, I thought “This is just another situation I can benefit from. If I focus on building cashflow/income assets that would cover the cost of this room, then at the point I CAN move into a cheaper place, I’ll STILL have that income already coming in!”
Small shift, of course, but seemed profound at the time

I rewatched SW Ep3 (Revenge of the Sith) the other day, so I could see my favorite scene.
But I got to wondering, it had all appearances that Mace Window (haha) legit bested Palpatine in LIghtsaber combat. Did he, though? Or did Palpatine, knowing Anakin would show up, ALLOW Window to “win” up to that point?

I ran the below stack before bed last night. 3 minutes each. Don’t do what I did blah blah. Follow the recommendations.
I ran that, went to bed. Dreamed I was out in public, working a booth of some sort. Had a face mask on. So only my eyes were visible.
Was chatting up some cutie who was at my booth. She said something at one point, and I suddenly just “knew” what to say to her. That’d be the S&SX in IrresistiBILL.
But also, since I had a mask on, I knew I needed to make great use of my eyes (as that’s the only real channel of communication other than speaking from behind the mask).
I felt my eyes crackle with energy or something, and I willed my eyes to help my message land. She lit up even more, and the dream faded before I could carry the interaction any further.
IrresistiBILL has the Seducer’s Gaze module. Definitely felt that at play in the dream. Like mental dress rehearsal.

Slight recon sadness hit a bit ago. Very mild, still going on. Just the sadness I might feel if a good friend ghosted me. But like 1/10 of the intensity you’d expect.
Surprised it’s only this much, given the size of that stack last night. I’m reading “Foundation and Empire” (the 2nd of the Foundation Trilogy) right now.

I realized/remembered earlier tonight that I had a dream snippet a few nights ago. it was before the power stack above. So I’m no longer sure which subs influenced the snippet.
I mainly remember just a bit where I was just presented with an idea in the form of a voice.
“Forget the big problems. Just solve all the little, seemingly inconsquential problems you’re able to. Solve enough of those, and the big stuff will sort itself out.”
Reminds me of Matt Damon’s like to the training class in “The Martian”:
You just begin. You do the math. You solve one problem… and you solve the next one… and then the next. And If you solve enough problems, you get to come home.

Something has come up 3 times so far over the past few days. People complimenting me on my glasses. My EYEWEAR!
I’m sitting here reading yet another book about Warren Buffett, and just remembered those remarks three different people told me: “I like/love your glasses!”
I don’t particulary like my glasses. I’ve had the same pair for years, but have never been able to justify getting new ones. I really haven’t been in a position to even get my eyes checked lately. Been a few years. And I’d rather figure out some way to restore my vision to 20/20 or better.
I am grateful that, for now, they help me be able to see relatively clearly and drive.
So it was weird in those moments “I like/love your glasses”.
When that recall of those incidents hit me just now, I was instantly thinking “Must be that new LBFH!” makes perfect sense

Sent to a dear friend tonight:
I want to escape the rut I’m in.
Just too tired to see a way out.
Work, come “home”, read (if I’m lucky and can stay awake while doing so). Maybe some TV. Sleep.
I wanna do great things and feel like it’s a struggle to even do the bare minimum or to do “good” things.
Vent/rant over.
