Jumping rope vs running, which one is a better cardio?

Whichever one you like and will do! lol. I like jump rope, rebounding. Keeps me springy and they say it’s easier on the joints.

Depends on your goal.

Jump rope burns more calories. It’s also better for your knees and joints, the impact from running will be harmful later on in life.

Jump rope builds coordination, agility, and timing. It also works both your upper and lower body. It takes less space. And you can learn some cool moves when you get better at it.

Running has the advantage of getting fresh air and exploration if you plan to run outside. It’s also easier than jump rope.

You can incorporate both in your routine. If I had to choose one, I vote for jump rope and cycling over running (joint pain)

Both are meh imo. Stairs machine. That will show you what true cardio is.

Jump rope, trampoline and swimming are best.

Running on hard surface isn’t great, it’s fine if you can run on softer ground like nature trails or running track.

Walking with an incline for fat burn, around 8-10 incline with like 5.5 walking speed tho depends on you

I like jump rope better, it’s much easier on the joints, it’s more fun, burns more calories, I think it’s even more effective for building stamina.

But it doesn’t really matter just do whatever you prefer, I hate running and love jump rope so I do it.

Better question is what zone of cardio do you want to be in?

Running is great for zone 2-4

Jump rope is 3-5
