Is yoga demonic

I’m seeing on X(twitter) that some Christians say yoga is demonic, and I will link a video below.
What do you think about this, personally time to time I’m using yoga poses for stretching but saying yoga is demonic, I think too much. And also they say same thing for meditation too.

It’s not demonic. Would be about the same level of intellect to say boxing or chess are demonic. No correlation. Plus the concepts of “angels” and “demons” are church fabrications anyway.

actually, the concepts of sin, angels, demons came from Zoroastrianism

It reminds me of an old sketch that was uploaded to Newgrounds ages ago:

I am not American, but I’ve heard that in the 1980s, there was a Satanism scare among Christian conservatives in the USA, and somehow, some people actually thought that Dungeons&Dragons was a recruitment drive for satanic cults

If they say Yoga is demonic, guess what they say about subliminals?

Some people might have concerns about the spiritual aspects of yoga, particularly if they feel it conflicts with their own religious views. The perspectives on yoga can vary widely depending on cultural, religious, or personal beliefs. If you’re looking for physical exercise and relaxation without the spiritual components, there are many yoga classes that focus solely on the physical aspects of the practice.

I just do meditation.

I heard that gardening is demonic because you worship soil instead of the god.

If we’re talking opening “demonic doors”. I’d rank social media far above yoga in terms of demonic.

If you believed in that sort of things, surely the main point would be intention. If you are just doing yoga and meditation for self growth and minding your own business, there is nothing wrong with it at all.

I couldn’t stomach to watch the whole video, that woman seems totally deluded to me.

It can be.

But Christianity can be too.

And so can everything else.

Ask yourself what it means for something to be demonic.

Then see what your answer is to this question.

What yoga does is reaching a dimension of human existence that modern day Christianity doesn’t have a concept of.

Im a Catholic theologian and felt these dimensions while practicing yoga.

This experience that emotions are stored in the body and can be released through workout isn’t present in modern Christianity.

The experiences of meditation as well.

It wasn’t always that way. But today…

And what we don’t understand we demonize.
