The benefits are what you gain from the product, the relief it provides you. For example, if I was selling aspirin, I’d build my marketing around being able to do your daily activities without having to worry about pain. That’s the benefits of the drug. The solution is the actual drug, the aspirin. I could say something like “make headaches a thing of the past and go about your day being happy and relaxed”. That’s the benefits. I’m not saying “Aspirin will solve your headache” which is selling the solution.
@SaintSovereign s doing the very same thing here. He usually talk about the benefits you could get from the sub: wealth, alpha status, romance. He is not selling the track and he is not leading his marketing with ZP. The version of the tech will change, the benefits of the sub won’t. That’s why you lead with the benefits.
Some people also say: “sell the benefits, not the features”.
Dangit Saint, I have a team call in 15 minutes and you’ve almost got me tearing up here lol. My daughter is growing up sooo fast. I wish I’d thought to do something like this. Not the point though, of course.
