This is a great point you make.
It basically means that people in victim mode will attach themselves to any method and system that will confirm their victimhood.
Which also means that these predictive systems are completely useless, because if you are not in victim mode but proactively manifesting your life, then you don’t need any “input” from any of those systems in the first place.
I am determined to go outside tomorrow. And I will do so, despite the weather.
But I find nothing wrong with checking the weather anyway.

I think it is important to understand how much something has an effect onto you.
Something like the physical weather definitely has a stronger impact than some fortune cookie prediction.
You cannot avoid the weather in most cases but you can completely choose to not accept the message from the fortune cookie.
Those predictive systems like HD are almost all fortune cookie level.
I’d say that the structure, functions, and dimensionality of my consciousness and my inherited instinctual patterns have a much more profound effect than mere weather.
But to each his own.
We’ve both expressed ourselves clearly enough. I’m satisfied if you are. We’ll probably learn more from actually observing the empirical data of our lived experiences over time.
Yes, but while weather is happening in a shared reality and you barely have any control over it, you have immense control and influence onto your own internal world. So while your internal world has a bigger impact onto yourself, you also have a much bigger control over it. With the weather you can in most cases only react to it.
I have no memory of "predictions" being made by Human Design.

That’s my whole point. HD is based on astrology and I Ging as Simon mentioned. It’s taking the (evolved) theory of IGing ow a human works and bases it upon the astrological knowledge of how stars influence our moment of birth.
But as you said yourself “energies in one’s astrological natal charts can be changed completely”. That’s what I tried to say aswell. Your HD shows your starting point on life, your basic configuration.
But you can chose to overcome your inner limitations. Especially if you chase development, it’s no surprise that it’s not fitting anymore.
If Saint for example is pretty happy with his configuration and can excel, than that’s great as well. It would be interesting though, if a deeper reading would be as accurate for him, since I believe he evolved as well.
I know several people who didn’t respond positively at all ( one is my brother) to Human Desing, Astrologie, psychology readings ect etc.

First time figuring this out hopefully I got most of the definitions down correctly. Hit quite home in more than one field.
Human Design is essentially a mix of Kabbalah, I’Ching, Myers-Briggs, astrology, biochemistry, genetics, and the chakra system all in one.

“They may challenge societal norms and have a natural inclination to question authority.”
Made me laugh out loud. I have a huge problem with authority. Just can’t stand people telling me what to do. It’s an automatic mental ignore.
Edit: Interestingly enough, my Zodiac, Chinese Zodiac, MBTI and this one all align pretty well.
Mine was quite accurate, but I only took a quick glance. Looking at the screenshot above, it appears to me that Human Design is simply western astrology repackaged and presented without the esoteric symbols and archetypes that makes astrology so inaccessible.

As a student of symbolism myself, one only has to look at the symbols on the left and right sides, and there you’ll see the astrological symbols for the planets and signs. So, if you believe there’s any value in astrology, one would have to conclude that there’s value in Human Design. There’s nothing wrong with updating something old into new.
I agree on this.
However, I have the impression that with the HD repackaging many interpretations and symbols were converted erroneously. Plus, the whole system is sold as something “new” and “unique”, where people have to spend Thousands of dollars on “courses” and “educational material”. This is definitely a money grab disguised as “deep spiritual wisdom”.
