Well I think the drugs might block fears and anxieties temporarily to allow the sub to bring about external results. In essence your fooling the sub into believing you have no doubts, fears and insecurities. As I said I would never recommend anyone to go down this path.
Crazy idea:
Why not use a placebo in replacement of the drug? It works even if we know it’s a placebo. 
@Magneto to be honest I am not going to rush the custom just let it do its magic will reflect back in a month to see how things have progressed.
