Have the primers been removed from subliminals?

Main thing that interested me in making customs was the fact that the cores are smaller than the titles because of no primer and i could perhaps squeeze in a third title/core because of it

I thought i read somewhere that they were so i was confused for a bit or that they were made smaller

The support scripting still exists in major titles, but that doesn’t affect you building a 3 core custom.

I mean, many of you were there when we removed the “Zero Point Primer” from all the titles. The issue we ran into was the fact that people generally run three titles, and thus they were getting hit with the Primer more than the actual scripting, which led to increased recon in the early Zero Point Preview days.

We decided that it made more sense to simply remove it and each title would then have dedicated, focused scripting, since again – the majority of people run three titles anyway.

Sounds like the primers were removed with the shift to ZPv2. Modern subs use dedicated support scripting, which are absent from cores.

I just figured primer was a catch all for support scripting. Live and learn.

None of that matters tho lol
If you want a 3 core custom just know it could be more recon
I have a 2 customs with 3 cores and 2 essence modules
I don’t notice a difference in recon
But I have adaptive and anti recon scripting in both aswell
Plus my last custom has 3 cores plus NREE core

I listen to my main 2 customs for 7 mins each and my last one for 3 mins
