Getting into shape - results?

Anyone used the subs to get into shape?

I’m planning on using Emperor to diet down. I’ve always been the kind of person who believes in eating whatever you want, moderately, to get into shape and just being healthy but that also leads me to eating a lot of junk and now I hate the way I look in regards to my abs and stuff. I’ve always been a bit more on the muscular side than on the ‘lean’ side which is what I really want. I hate dieting and find it a struggle.

Anyone used the subs and got results dieting down?

Emperor definitely has somethings in it to help you get fit to an extent. Spartan and Emperor would make a really good combo for fitness. It would be like the batman stack lol

I added Spartan Core to my custom months ago and definitely helped during October and November. Reduced the soreness the next day and increased results in the lower part of the body and arms. Plus, I noticed my performance while working out was definitely better. Stacking Executive made me workout without missing a day in my streak in October.

Thanks to it alone I remember it reduced the fat on my abdomen in the first three weeks. And to be fair during those two months I never dieted, always drank my daily intake of cola as usual. Can’t say no to cold-ass Dr. Pepper.

So I do recommend adding Spartan, the full program might work better for you than for me! And stacking with Emperor now that’s badass.

In my experience, you dont need anything else other than Emperor for fitness. If you crave fast food or the like, Commander helped a lot.

Cutting soda is a pain in the ass lol it is such an addicting taste especially Dr Pepper lol.

I agree a lot man! It’s almost impossible to say no to it, and yo… Don’t forget the root beer!

Lol it took me awhile to cut soda and stay off it, i had to cut it cold turkey bc i couldn’t ween myself off. Haven’t had a soda in almost a month but it’s so tempting when ever i go anywhere lol. A good alternative to soda is sparkling ice.

Thanks for reminding me the existence of sparkling ice. Will consult it as an alternative for the daily dose. For the time being I buy sometimes handcrafted soda, keeps the craving away decently for dieting and it’s better 'cause of reduced sugar intake.

I’ve heard the best results from Emperor Fitness, much more so than from Emperor alone. Have you looked into that one? If you’re up for another custom, there’s quite a few modules for physical shifting that might be suitable.

I also have zero desire to be “muscular”, but at nearly 6’3" tall I don’t aim to be skinny either. So much of the stuff I’ve looked at is aimed at getting “jacked”, which to me looks bulky. I want to have lean muscles, less muscular than the Kinobody guy but this is close enough for an example:

I was actually planning on doing a custom based on EF, but now I’m thinking I ought to focus on mental healing first, and have been very inspired by the DR journals, especially by @James

But, I digress…

Check out EF, and if you’re looking for a new kind of eating plan to go with it, I have personally had very good results with intermittent fasting + cyclical clean keto.

Thank You. I just switched to Dragon Blood today and I’m about to run a loop of Love Bomb Ultima per the recommendation of @Sub.Zero

As for the food itself, I highly recommend the Zone Diet. I hate that it has the word “Diet” in it, simply because it isn’t restrictive. You can pretty much eat anything you want (cutting junk it always recommended, however). Zone is more about eating proteins, carbs, fats, in a 7/9/1.5 ratio of grams, respectively.

When I did Zone back in the summer of 2010, I went from a 34 waist down to 24 or 26 over the summer.

I did cut soda during that time, so that helped quite a bit.

I liked it because it wasn’t all “You MUST NOT have cheesecake!” lol. I just had half the piece today, and the other half in a couple days.

Between Emperor and Emperor Fitness/Spartan in custom my body composition has changed dramatically. I’m not lean but that’s not been a focus until now. But I look leaner and leaner and added quite a bit of muscle.

Emperor Fitness Supreme

“Grain Brain Whole Life Plan” by Dr David Perlmutter

And books by Dr. Jason Fung

and I stopped eating refined sugar and refined carbohydrates… and I limited my amount of sugar per day to less than 20 grams (fruit included).

I’m thinking of buying this and adding it to my DR+HOM stack.

I had Emperor in it but dropped it as I don’t think I need both at the moment. HOM is new to me.

Now I’m just making a decision if I should do the @Simon here and just run it with St4

With EF I did each stage… in a row… one by one.

And now you’re a sexy ripped muscular beast?

Bro, EQ is definitely wipping me into shape. I used to work out, for years, and then last year I just lost my will to do it.

Since sticking with my stack, it’s on like donkey kong and I’m getting my gains back and seeing definition. EQ is the real deal.

I’m also doing IF, OMAD. No difficulties at all.

Edit: Btw, I don’t like calorie counting or restricting what I eat, that’s why OMAD works the best for me.

I wish. I can see my muscles are bigger. My shirts are fitting tighter. I go up in weights or reps every time I go to the gym.

… and I was sexy before EF … :sunglasses:

:rofl::rofl:

I’ve actually got both (major programs) but my stack is already too dense to add Spartan - however when I did run Spartan it was great for my workouts - I’ve just never really found anything to help me stick to my nutrition - until possibly today haha.

Don’t get me started on cutting out soda, I’ve done it several times but always come back to Coke and Pepsi D:

Yeah I think @Sinusoid ran Commander and said he found it easier to not eat junk food on, it was great to read. I am currently using Emperor but using this month to figure out my stack, this makes it difficult haha.

I have also, I’d been recommended Emperor Fitness for me in dance too but I just can’t add it because of denseness - I’d add everything if I could :joy: I’m considering several customs just to make stuff work haha.

This is how I want to look! I’m definitely chubbier. I have an outline in abs and my arms/chest and bigger but it’s thanks to higher body fat percentage I have. I’m definitely more into the jacked thing too. Unfortunately for me I’m not 6’3, but 5’6 D:

This is what I hate about diets. Whenever I think about starting one and they restrict me from eating something I think NOPE. I’ll have a look into the Zone Diet, thanks dude!

Gah, ya’ll making it difficult for me not to add Emperor Fitness. May as well just add all the Emperor’s and have incredible drive, fitness and wealth :joy:

Thanks for the resources dude, will check into them!

This is what I struggle with D:

For sure man, I’ve been working out and getting it done pretty much asap on Emperor which I really enjoy - especially when I don’t want to work out. I just get it done. I need it too, not just want it. But diet is still the same, I’ve just always struggled with ‘dieting’ to the point I’m checking out ‘Huel’ at the moment.
