I had some interesting external results.
I was shown a video of dopamine Vs serotonin, where it says that dopamine and serotonin cannot co exist .
What constitutes real happiness is not dopamine, it’s serotonin. So people looking for happiness with dopamine filled activities such as constantly partying, always scrolling on tik tok, nose candy etc is actually detrimental to long term happiness.
Things where u contribute to the world, real connections, momentum towards a purpose you believe in, contributing to real change and seeing these changes are what seems to be the real contributors to happiness
