Got sudden interest in reading about masculinity and masculine energy. Got these books:

  • Iron John
  • The Way of The Superiorman
  • Fire In The Belly
    And a couple more. 🧔‍♂️

So far Iron John is interesting and a nice read.

I’ve also started a face routine, 3 step with cleansers, serum and lotion. Lol Emperor is superficial.

Makes no sense. Masculine energy and a face routine. But hey, I’m following the nudges.wherever they might lead.

Got a shout out from team members today in our retrospective:

  • Happy you’re in the team
  • Happy and surprised how fast you get in and start contributing
  • Love the energy and engagement, asking questions, caring, contributing

Which felt nice

At the same time be careful to settle or stop striving. Most people’s standard and goal is to just get by… I try to live to higher standards. That’s why they say the people you surround urself with can hinder you. Actually they say you’re the average of the 5 people closest to you.

I’m not saying the people around me are not ambitious, but it’s just a thing to be aware of.

I don’t want to settle or just get by. This doesn’t mean to stress, but it’s to keep on striving, upgrade goals, go for the next level etc.

My boss told me he and the other managers have decided to give me permanent employment! That was one of my first goals with this stack. 🫡

I just want to gather apples and build pyramids.

One apple at a time.
One brick at a time.

Recon heavy start to the 8th cycle. Alot of thoughts and reflection on gaming, streaming and my Bald Shroud ™️ custom that I only ran for a short while.

  1. GMX: Aimbot core
  2. True Sell core
  3. Daredevil core
  4. Synergy: Glory Incarnate (3)
  5. Synergy: Tale of the Dragon (4)
  6. Synergy: Carpe Vitam (3)
  7. Synergy: Divine Dominion (6)
  8. Synergy: Thunderstruck (3)
  9. Synergy: Heaven shaking power (3)
  10. Synergy: Winner overdrive (2)
  11. Synergy: Wonders of Life (2)
  12. Synergy: At The Top (4)

Copium? I don’t know. I know I’ll come out of this recon mist better.

I admire your discipline with not sub hopping

Thanks friend. I just don’t want to be a broken record. Recon = growth potential imo. So by switching because of it is a form of self-sabotage.

I’m extremely guilty of it lately lol

But I do take inspiration from you and some other people here when it comes to consistency.

There’s so many interesting points in the book Iron John. One is about the wound, and how wounds are part of growth. But one can take different directions, some more constructive than others. I just find a whole lot of similarity to recon and subliminals. :ok_hand:

Great book so far. I started reading it to explore books on masculinity.

I’ve been an ascender, striving to be untethered. But now I want to become bonded to matter. Will take the ascension later.

Reading your journal has motivated me. As before I read it I wanted to try this stack of Emperor and index gate out. How long did you run only Emperor and Index gate? How have you felt it has helped you with coding? Can you code longer and stay more focused? Any other benefits?

So far I’m on my 8th consecutive cycle, so around 5-6 months with this stack.

Absolutely and my imposter syndrome is dissipating. I got better and better at passing interviews ~> landed a job, and just recently got permanent. I’ve also been praised multiple times. I just feel 2025 is a great year for my career.

Absolutely, emperor with IG: upx, incredible work ethics and focus. I am looking forward to Mondays and hate weekends. Lol

  • Losing weight
  • Exercise motivation
  • Higher standards
  • Massive action
  • Better goal setting
  • Popularity at work
  • Fearlessness - feeling fear but doing it anyway

Alot more, if you can handle it.

Awesome! I’m glad to hear all the benefits it has helped you with. As I am going to school for computer science and have found I needed to focus more. I’m sure I’ll be running this stack for a while, as school and landing a tech job is the most important goal right now. I’m also looking forward to reading more of your accomplishments. Do you use any tools to help you get tasks done? For example the app Todoist or and excel spreadsheet? Any other apps or tools in general you use that help you as a Software engineer?

Generally just writing everything down in notepad or a note taking app. To keep track of todos, thoughts, reasoning I’ve done and to track my thought process around a problem. Also meeting notes etc.
