Disconnected from People and Society

Sometimes resistance to running subs is resistance to what you actually need and saying no to yourself. Other times, it’s a case of you don’t align with it. I’ve been getting nasty recon on PCC but necessary for growth long term.

That’s not a bad suggestion, a Heartsong for life long friends. Code of loyalty comes to mind for that with Inner circle.

Every time I had to attend social events, I used to use it as an energy shot, and it was wonderful. That was back when I was in full-sigma mode listening to Emperor V3. I had a lot of antisocial thoughts, but True Social helped me get through it gracefully and easily.

I don’t have resistance to running those subs. If anything I had a resistance to staying on my current stack. My current stack is geared towards building my foundation and healing my own issues first. But LBFH is starting to show that when I get myself right everything else starts to fall into place, including socially. I’ve got code of loyalty in my custom and pride unbroken as well, definitely a combo to heal being ghosted or tossed aside and also heal loyalty issues and to know who i should be loyal to while bringing in loyal people.

First of all, yes, I have certainly felt disconnected many times.

Secondly, most people will have this feeling at times. Some will acknowledge and reveal it, some will not.

Thirdly:

Human beings, in general, love making generalizations.

“Society” this. “The World” that. “All of nature” this. “The Universe” that. “Always” this…. “Never” that…

Generalizations are a major go-to for our friends, the homo sapiens. We do it a lot. And it’s genius. Our improvised algorithms save us a great deal of time as we navigate the world, people, situations, and ourselves,.

On the downside, the more that you buy into your own generalizations, the less likely you are to notice the many exceptions that exist right alongside them.

The solution in my mind is not to somehow “stop” making generalizations. That would be an exercise in futility.

Instead, take a page from Guns n’ Roses and “Use Your Illusion”.

Use generalizations, but also, at the same time, recognize that you are using generalizations.

In other words, as useful as this map may be, it’s not the territory.

As helpful as these stories about ‘The World’ may be, they’re not, ultimately, completely accurate.

Don’t just be humble about your achievements, also be humble about your despair.

They’re both wrong.

Anyway, also remember, when you’re building your next custom:

There’s also that.

How about Inner Circle or Untouchable?

Have you considered starting a Meetup group centered around something you are interested in that would also attract the type of people you want to be around?
