Bujin's Experimental Log

Custom just arrived. Will play from tomorrow, starting at 1 loop per day.

Victory’s Call is insanely effective, especially combined with Emperor’s push.

I’d elaborate, but got shit I want to do.

Later.

Just a quick update.

Victory’s Call makes it effortless to get things done. Whereas normally I’d think about whether I need to do something now or can leave it, with Victory’s Call as soon as I see something that needs doing I do it without giving it any thought at all. It seems to remove that feeling of aversion to doing something that can lead to procrastination.

But it also feels like I was wasting too much time on here, so I’m reducing my time here significantly.

Been listening to Emperor custom + EOG1 the last few days. Running them back-to-back 15m each gives me a recon headache, but running them separately during the day is more effective and allows that feel-good Emperor effect to shine through.

Spent yesterday looking forward to all the work I wanted to do on my property this weekend, and I’m heading out to do that in ~ 15m after I finish my coffee. This custom makes it really easy to just do stuff I’ve been putting off for ages, and even makes me want to do it.

I won’t introduce it for a few weeks, but I’ve decided the third sub in the stack will be my Alchemist/Sage Immortal custom.

I also don’t have a timeline for progressing through EOG, I’ll switch stages when I feel it’s right. The way I see it, the longer I run each stage, especially stage 1, the easier and more effective the subsequent stages will be. So no point in rushing through them to get to ST4.

Having run the Emperor custom for a week and a half, I can say it has nowhere near the positivity and happiness of the Emperor + GLM stack I was running before, but it makes me much, much more productive. While the custom has Emperor, it’s diluted by the other modules, and it doesn’t have GLM.

Maybe if I alternate the stacks I’ll find a happy medium?

Day A - Custom + EOG1
Day B - Emperor + GLM

It’s probably worth a shot.

I’m planning to continue running subs daily for another week or so, then take a 2 week washout. Hopefully then, after saturating myself for almost 2 months, I’ll finally experience some decent bloom.

And if not, it’s still useful data.

I’m running this today, but this is just to see if it helps with a better overall balance between positivity and productivity. I won’t continue with this after the washout, since I want to bring in Alchemist as the 3rd sub.

Wondering whether I should use my Alchemist ST4/Sage custom or just restart Alchemist from stage 1 and run through that again. Last time I did that it was either Q or pre-Q, I don’t remember which. I think maybe pre-Q. So could be interesting running through it in ZP.

This didn’t seem to make any difference.

But yesterday and today I dropped back down to 7m each of my custom and EOG1, and today BOOM - that beautiful euphoria hit me again.

So it looks like if I go with daily exposure then 15m of each is just too much.

Good to know.

On Wednesday I start my 2 week washout, and when I start again I’ll go with a more settled stack and listening pattern and dial down the experimentation.

No significant bloom so far. No recon either. I feel fine, in fact some of the extra productivity and positivity from Emperor has remained, so it seems my baseline levels have increased a little. That’s good.

I’m thinking that 15m is my daily ZP limit, whether I’m running 1 sub at 15m or 2 at 7m.

But I’m not ready to stop with the experiments yet. So I’m thinking about 2 options when I restart:

Day A: Emperor custom 7m + EOG1 7m
Day B: Alchemist-1 15m

or

Day A: Emperor 7m + EOG-1 7m
Day B: Alchemist-1 7m + Spartan 7m

Note for the second stack that’s regular Emperor not my custom. With 4 titles that’s already a diffuse stack, and the custom would make it even more diffuse. I’m planning to continue running the subs every day, taking rest days only when I feel I need them. Seems to be working reasonably well for me so far. But it may not work so well with 4 major titles. Only one way to find out.

I’m taking another week or so washout before restarting.

Haven’t noticed any real recon or bloom during the washout, so I’m not sure if there’s any point in doing the full 2 weeks of washout. I guess I may as well restart my stack this weekend. That’s still 1.5 weeks washout completed, more than enough it seems.

I’m wrapping up my washout and restarting the subs today.

But I’m not 100% comfortable with the proposed stack. Emperor, EOG and AL are certainties. But if I have a 4th, should it be Spartan? I absolutely love Spartan, it’s in my top 3 subs and I really want to get back to it, but I keep thinking it doesn’t quite fit in my stack right now. Reluctantly I think I should listen to my gut and drop it.

Perhaps AA or SB as an alternative? Both are light and should pair beautifully with AL.

Either that or stick with 3 subs for now.

I’m going with AA for now, so

Day A: AL1 7m + AA 7m
Day B: Emp 7m + EOG1 7m

Sticking with a daily listening pattern.

I’ll review in a week or two and adjust if needed.

So no bloom or recon, and after the first 3-4 days of washout there was no sense of processing going on either. I’m thinking this means that my level of exposure was basically on point. This is why I’m continuing with the same pattern.

However optimal exposure will differ for each sub, so this new stack may require an adjustment. 1-2 weeks should be long enough to get some idea if it’s needed. Right now I want to prioritize execution, and recon interferes with that, so I’m aiming for an exposure level that provides noticeable results with minimal recon.

Holy crap.

I was going through some stuff in storage, and I came across the ā€œGod Helmetā€ I bought from Dr Persinger, maybe 14 or 15 years ago I think. It ended up in storage when I moved to the US 10 years ago, and I completely forgot about it.

Gonna have to play with it again soon. Hopefully it still works ok. The hardware should be fine, but I don’t know if the software still runs ok under Win 10.

Correction, I bought it off Persinger’s research associate Todd Murphy. The invoice is still in the box.

Unfortunately the software doesn’t work on my Win 10 computer, even in compatibility mode, the last supported version was Win 7. I emailed them to see if I can get an updated version.

For those unfamiliar with the ā€œgod helmetā€, it uses switching magnetic fields in a particular arrangement around the head to trigger mystical experiences.

Yep! Have you used it?

Todd Murphy just sent me the updated software but stupid Norton 360 is giving me grief.

Never did. Was too much money for me at the time

Looks like some of the cable splitters are broken on my shakti. Ordered some new ones plus some new cables just to be sure, but that means I won’t get to play with it until next weekend. Oh well.

The stack exposure level feels a bit high. Also it feels rather muddled, I can’t distinguish the subs very well. So I’m considering trying an alternative listening pattern - keep the stack but just run 1 title per day with more rest days, to (hopefully) better experience each individual sub.

Day 1: Emperor
Day 2: EOG1
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: AL1
Day 5: AA
Day 6: Rest
