How do they classify it to be 16 personalities? Is it possible that there are more?
There are 16 types by the internal conventions of that particular system of personality typology. Others can and have made other systems with more and less categories.
None of this stuff is objective.
It’s a bit like asking why there are 24 hours in a day and 60 minutes in an hour. These conventions were created and developed by people to conveniently organize the experience of time. But, the precise divisions are somewhat arbitrary. The important thing is to choose some system that most people can agree on and/or use conveniently and effectively.
