Just ordered the first parts for my new workstation, to take advantage of some Prime Day deals.
My goal is to build a system that will be sufficient for several years. It’s replacing a system built with an A6-7400K CPU with 16GB ram, which I did as a budget build ~3 years ago.
Ordered:
- Asus TUF B450M-Plus motherboard
- AMD Ryzen7 3800X CPU
- Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB RAM
- Corsair Carbide Series 275Q Mid-Tower Case
Still TBD:
- 1tb SSD (probably Crucial)
- 8gb video card TBD
- modular power supply TBD
I don’t play games, but I do a lot of work in Photoshop and some video editing with Premiere Pro & After Effects, any suggestions for a suitable graphics card?
