Well for one everyone defines petty bs as something different
What you may call petty bs someone else may deem important

It really depends on the person

But what I meant what is people deserve to atleast be heard out, then decide to cast it off or use it. Sometimes petty bs can be useful.

my mom is on depression meds but she still consumes a lot of news and stuff… i think its not good for a depressive person to consume so much news. she loves news. we don’t have a TV so her mobile and her pretty much go at it.

i keep trying to get her to minimise news but she hardly listens. i try to get her to get out of the house a little for fresh air… but she resists that saying her knees ache and she cant do stairs.

i get frustrated and angry at her coz I don’t think she consciously makes an effort to get better.

i do it with a little patience and not so much smile, I get angry and sometimes speak harshly about her poor habits

I’m sorry to hear your mom is having such problems. It may not be easy to watch her feel like that.

Why do you get frustrated if someone does or does not do something with their life.

It’s not yours.

If you act from attachment because it’s your mother, big mistake.
You cannot force people to change themselves.

I stopped doing that long ago. I only help people that come to me.

They need the first incentive themselves.

Otherwise, they most likely deny everything you say because it would mean change.
And change is energy intensive.

In the end, both of you are frustrated or you waste a ton of energy and poison your own life.

This doesn’t serve either of you.

Accept that you can only lead the horse to the trough, but you can’t make it drink.

@Prome, each and everyone walks their own path – we cannot force our own opinions and perceptions down someone’s throat.

All we can do is inspire others and lead by example.

So far Power is concerned, it is closely connected to Love and those who’re uncompassionate leaders, lacking the necessary empathy while having unfathomable power usually end up destroying themselves – when Power and Love are harmonized something magnificent happens.

Perhaps add Love Bomb to your Stack Rotation if you feel that you being unnecessarily forceful towards friends, family, and strangers?

It’s actually the other way round. Power comes from taking responsibility.

I know how my posts on here sometimes look, but you gotta understand if you have a wife that is obedient to you (by her choice!) you are now responsible for not just your life.
Also hers.
And the children.

It’s not just commanding people, sitting on your throne, drinking scotch.
EVERYTHING at home is my responsibility.

Wife fucks something up. My responsibility to fix it.
This is where power is gained. By taking care of more people than just yourself.

For that, you need to love these people.

Quite simple.

I understand horror can be entertaining. I know they are “just movies” but I wonder how this might be effecting you. I would encourage you to consider stop watching horror movies for a week a notice how your mood changes.

This is more important than we give it credit for.

The subs are one thing, but the conscious stuff we consume also shapes the subconscious.

I noticed this with music (which is especially potent because it is repetitive (think about the depressive music ppl listen to)) and TV shows etc

The media you consume has a huge impact.

It’s a waste of time anyway, but if you decide to watch a show, make it a powerful, positive, or great one.

i dont see a good reason to switch the routine tho

I had been doing AM qv1 for 1mo with I think 1 loop per day and it didn’t do me any good if

so I’ve upped it to 2 loops with qv2…

You don’t have to see a good reason to do something. You simply have the option to make a choice to do something different even if you don’t want to when it might be to your benefit to try something new.

thats true ig… in unchartered territories, the experimental iterations sometimes just have to be different (and a little random) to stumble across something

i am contemplating adding Khan ST1 again.

effectively making my stack Khan ST1 + Khan ST2 + AM.

I think I might be needing a little more healing.

I had done Khan ST1 for 30 days on Qv1.

Good idea, I’ve done that a cuople of times. I would not play St1 and St2 the same day though. Just from my own experience of it.

in that case… i might do AM daily and alternate between ST1 and ST2

I just noticed that TB is so strong that it takes the sting out of St2. For me it worked better to use it tandem. Or just do a week of TB and then get back to St2. But try it out it might work for you, never know until you try :slight_smile:

@Prome I think @Tobyone has gained some hard earned wisdom over his life. If you do go with both st1 and st2 of Khan at once, please consider playing them at most 3 times per week and remember to take 2 days off in a row for rest.

Tuesday: Rest

Wednesday: Khan st 1 and st 2

Thursday: Rest

Friday: Khan st 1 and st 2

Saturday: Rest

Sunday: Rest
