I think carnivore is quite extreme, better would be a Keto diet

I’ve heard of the diet but I’ll look into it more. That weight loss would be good. I’m not sure about the costs though, meat is pretty expensive in my country.

I was looking into this keto diet but I haven’t tried it. I’ve been trying to eat paleo type diet but some days I still eat bread and pasta.

You can also try cyclic keto which is five days keto and two days normal with carbs

Like the reg parks diet i think it was.

He would eat 2 meals of steak and eggs for 5 days than 1 day he would eat 3 meals of high quality carbs.

What diet do you both think would work best for physical job? It’s usually only 2-3 days a week but I’m looking to expand out to 5 days. Would the keto provide enough energy?

Probably low carb paleo

And of course no bread and pasta. Rather rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes and fruits. Btw what country are you in?

Thanks for the tips, I will look into all this diet information and get a bit stricter. I do feel better after a few days of whole foods. I feel less bloated and better for it. I’m from Australia :kangaroo:

High fat low carbs diet would be good.

Since you are not eating carbs for energy you need to get your energy from fat, if you feel low in energy increase your fat intake.

You will probably have an adjustment period when your body will feel low energy because it’s used to fet energy from carbs and not fat, you body will take some time to learn and to adjust to this kind of diet.

And of course eat enough protein.

If you wanna get energy from fat you should then go with keto or carnivore to stay in khetosis. Certain amount of carbs can switch your metabolism to carb fueling.

Cheers guys. I’ll give the high fat, low carb keto diet a go. I’ll be shopping on Sunday for food so I’ll do some diet research and make a keto food list to buy.

That’s correct, i think it’s 50 grams of carbs per day, but it’s a general statement.

Probably depends on your weight and metabolic health.

Try to avoid carbs if you want to get into ketosis.

how was your journey with DR:LD and Genesis?

It was really good, much smoother than this sub stack. I felt more insightful and in tune with people and my goals than I do at the moment.

Day 7

True Sell - 3 minutes
PCC - 3 minutes

I had a lot of dreams last night. In most of them I’d make some type of mistake and then spend a bunch of time trying to cover it up so no-one knew what I’d done. The dreams were frustrating but it felt like they were working on something deeper. I done short loops today, to help move through this recon.

Still feeling kind of pissed off. I’ve hit an emotional rough patch the past 3-4 days that’s for sure. I feel like I should let it out somehow, but I also do feel like it’s becoming less intense. Hopefully my mood will bounce back when I come to terms with True Sell and PCC. The stack was off to strong start so I know I can get back there and continue seeing results.

I did the first day of no carbs today. For lunch I had meat, eggs, almonds and cheese. Very nice, I enjoyed it, then dinner meat, almonds and cheese but it made me feel like gagging a bit  I guess you get used to keto more as time goes on and tomorrow when food shopping I’ll get a better selection of foods.

I took some photos with shirt tucked in because it shows the fatness. Is there hope for me? I hope the photo works, I set it to 50% and that looks good on phone. Hopefully it’s not huge on computer browsers :flushed:

I was kind of annoyed looking at the photos because I thought I looked better than that after losing 4-5kg already. Oh well, that’s reality for you. Don’t mind the clothes either, just old clothes I can get dirty in. I do dress better when the occasion calls :joy:

You’re on the right track, bro! Embrace your emotions and let them out in a healthy way. Keep pushing - you’ll bounce back stronger than ever. Keto takes time to adjust to, so give yourself some grace :muscle:

Thanks man. I can feel a bounce back happening. It was not pleasant to feel down and angry like that but I guess to move forward it takes acceptance. The more you resist the longer it lasts.

The keto diet might work well for me. The thought of it turns me off wanting to eat, so it should be good for weight loss. I wasn’t going to weigh myself but I did this morning (98.6kg). I dropped over a kilo in one day of not eating carbs.
