I still have some work to do before I decide whether or not to make my “exit”.
I finished reading Atlas Shrugged last night, and was sad. Felt like I was grieving something.
Grief over the old me dying.
I’ve been doing lots of introspection and sub usage to help me kickstart that process.
My book tracker sent me an email today about a book to read. I had forgotten I set up “The Slight Edge” by Jeff Olson to start today. 22 pages per day, will finish it in a week or so.
It was a pleasant surprise getting that email, since it’s been so long since I set that tracker up with dates and stuff.
I’ve already read the Slight Edge 2-3x. It’s THAT good.
On another note, I shaved my head today. I think I did it last in Feb or March of 2025.
Cart Girl didn’t seem to fond of it then. It’s funny that when today I considered shaving it, my thoughts went to taking into consideration her preference.
Turns out I value her opinions about things, because of the love I feel for her. The Randian kind of love.
In fact, I mentioned to the wife sometime last year that, of everyone who works at that grocery store, there is only one person whose opinion of me matters to me at all.
Wife is realizing (I think) the true depths of that love, so I can’t hide behind this for much longer.
Even if Cart Girl never went for me (after I make a clean exit), I can’t see myself staying in this marriage forever. There was some stuff that happened last year re: wife which struck me right in the “disrespect” bone. Which is like the funny bone, but far less humerus.
There are other women (at the store and elsewhere) I could go for if Cart Girl isn’t interested. But she is the ONLY one I find myself thinking about every day regardless what else is going on in my life.
So I shaved my head. It will take several months for it to grow back to where it was. Since I need time to sort out a few things logistically to my liking, I made a deal with myself.
By the time my hair grows back to the length it was a few hours ago, I will have fixed a few core issues in my life.
I will allow myself the reward of telling her what needs to be told by then. Which means I’ll need to have sorted my finances, my identity as a Sovereign Producer (a la Hank Rearden), and be honest with the wife about where I’m headed in life.
The old part of me still hurts writing this out, but it has to be said.

Now that R.I.C.H. core is upgraded, I put in to rebuild my $353 money custom.
I went with Terminus Squared this time. I figure if ANY custom in my life needs T^2, it’s money/M3.
I want this to be the year that I finally put myself into a position of, if I have a job, it’s because I WANT to, not out of financial necessity.
(Though to be honest, the best “job” I could have long-term is working with and for myself!)

I’m trying out Claude Code for the first time today. Decided I’ll show it the code I made before for the script i use to hold my emails until it’s time to move the emails from server into my Gmail. Does that twice per day so I don’t get distracted each time an email comes in. I just check it in batches.
While doing that, I decided to replicate the AscMogul+Limitless stack (ultrasonic using the last versions of each). Looped them along with Ulrasonic of Index Gate: Ultimate Programmer).
I had a working new version of my script within 10 minutes! I credit Claude Code for that of course. crazy how well that works.
Spent the next couple hours testing and iterating new “features” for it with CC. Now, instead of just a wall of text, it’s basically a clone of a GMail-type display. I can log in to look for specific emails, but it also lets me add whitelisting based on emails and/or keywords, with distinctions down to whether the keywords are subject only, body only, or either-or.
The stack didn’t help me in terms of creating code from scratch, since that wasn’t the goal.
But it did get me in the mindset of “Software Engineer directing his team”.
After a few hours, I removed AscMogul and dropped New Emperor in. I’ll see how that shifts the work I’m doing.

She said she likes calling me Sir. It’s all very interesting lmao

I was waiting on that to be able to replicate the Annabelle Stack (Ascension+GLM)(both upgraded now)
Also wanted to replicate the GLM+Commander stack. Never did get around to doing it.
So tonight before bed: 5 mins each of AscensionST2+GLM+GLM:C.

Stayed up way too late working on the latest addition to my Empire Projects. slept 4 hours. Ran the above stack again as I fell asleep.
Somehow in that 4 hours I managed to dream I was visualizing my empire project as a builder type GUI in front of me. Almost as if I had AR/VR glasses on and was using my hands to move stuff around and pick up pieces from part to put into another part.
Similar to the tinkering scenes in the Iron Man movies when Tony interacted with J.A.R.V.I.S. to design his stuff.

I finally decided to try out more stark black because I’m where I can build MVPs of SaaSs and micro-SaaSs in a weekend. But after that I find it easier to build a new thing than to promote the thing I’ve built.
I figure Stark Black would help.
I dreamed that I met some new woman. And was practicing my “banter” style of flirting on her. Getting her interested in me.
Very weird result. It was fun but I wonder if that was also distraction from my problem with stepping into the spotlight enough to get traction with my projects.

@SaintSovereign would Daredevil be “better” than Stark or Stark Black for getting my stuff “out there” with the storytelling aspects? Curious what QoS thinks.
Tech related? Definitely ASBR. If you’re disrupting markets, Nouveau RICH as well. Daredevil will help better with selling yourself to potential investors and customers.

Remember that app I’m always going on about how I built it in under a week with AscMogul+Limitless on loop?
My OG iOS source code is on a thumb drive in storage too far away to justify driving to get it.
So I told Claude about the app…we did up a very in-depth build plan for it. and Claude Code is analyzing it now. We’re building it for Android-only for now.
