Hi,
I have a custom built 2 years back that I wanted to get rebuilt as ZP. It’s asking me to tell if my custom was in Solace format or not, I don’t remember it. I believe I mentioned it to be Solace, but not totally sure.
How do I get to know about it?
There is an Orders section in your Q Store account. The link is here.
Find the Order number and click on it. It will show you all its build details including the type of Mask (Solace or not).
Solace is the current mask sound that all major zp titles have. If your mask sound is different then it is not solace.
Also please shift this thread to the Questions and Comments section.
Then it’s the old default Mask which came before Solace. The Legacy Mask.
I remember Solace was introduced before my custom ordering and I believe I mentioned a Solace upgrade. That’s why I’m confused.
It can’t be else you will see something like this:
If you can’t see the Mask option in your Order, it means it was built before the introduction of the Solace Mask.
If you are still not sure, ask the Support. Give them your order number and ask them whether it is already in Solace Mask or not.

Am guessing you don’t have the old custom mp3 file with you. If yes, you can listen to it and determine if it has Legacy Mask or Solace.
Legacy Mask is grainy and noisy. Solace is more trickling water.
Just downloaded the custom again from the Mail I received from Q back when it was shared. It sounds heavy and noisy as you’re defining, not like the smooth sounds in ZP titles that I have.

So, I’m getting it upgraded. I remember the higher rank people on the Forum getting some special discount like I did when ordering my custom. Will I get a discount for a custom upgrade too since I’m an Initiate?
There is an upgrade discount and a discount based on your Elite level (in your case Initiate). You should see it in your checkout. If, not do ask Support.
If you used to have Initiate discount before when buildikg a custom or purchasing a main store title, you should already have it there.
Use that link… If you keep all the options the same, its just 50 dollars, anything additional has a cost.
Ranks discounts, as far as I remember, are applied automatically at check out.

Not getting any discount while checking out, @Fire can you hop in? I remember you helped me with the coupon code while I was buying the custom.
Please put in a support ticket for this. Give them:
EDIT: you will not need a coupon after that since the discount will be automatically applied. You can notify Support each time you climb up each Elite level though until you reach the Arch Alchemist level which gives you 25% discount.
