I carry around my headphones all day long, even to work, and listen to subs all day long
However, I need to pause the subs from time to time mid way of a sub.
Will this deteriorate the effect of the subs?

Saint, we should definitely create an FAQ page. 
No harm. Worst case scenario your mind drops the incomplete part of the script from consideration. But since it will be repeated many times again, it will get through later.
If you somehow manage to always break it at the exact same point in the script…

Well, you’re fine then. It would be quite amazing if you managed to do that, considering the script repeats in the track and we have no idea how many times.
