Which apps can run shorter loops?

I’ve been running 5 minute loops successfully for over 2 months now, and I’ve been off this last week. I put on Ascension this morning, I was kind of drowsy, and I began reading posts. When I finally checked my VLC player, I’d done 7 minutes. This has happened a few times with recent loops.

Are there any Android apps which will stop loops at 5 minutes?

This could do the job.

Sleep Timer lets you fall asleep to your favorite music. You simply start your music, and then set the countdown timer. At the end of the countdown, Sleep Timer softly fades your music out and stops it. Allowing you to get your precious sleep and stops your battery from draining.

If you’ve got a Samsung phone, Samsung music has a sleep timer integrated.

Or just use the free online mp3 cutter for the exact length you want, with a fade out so it’s not jarring at the end.

So if I would like a 5 min one, I would take it to 5 min 3 secs to allow for 3 seconds to fade. Smooth transition into next track if there is one.

Trouble I find with sleep timers is that they begin from when you set those, rather than when you press play on the track.

Thanks for that @Starman. I used the sleep timer last night successfully.

But a cutter was what I was seeking originally. I’ve cut my own subs years back, but I was reluctant to pull up the software.

For Audioshare users on iOS: You can cut your MP3s with that, too.

Cutting subliminals from SubliminalClub isn’t recommended. Saint had mentioned this before.

Use a “turn music off timer” app like the ones mentioned here. That will be enough.

Lion or @SaintSovereign, can you please explain why mp3 cutters are not recommended for shortening the loop lengths, as I could not find info on the forum about this.

On iOS you can use the standard timer to stop apps from playing files after the timer ends. Not tested yet if it works with AudioShare.
