My apologies, everyone. Forgot this page was down. We will update the instruction manual with this information shortly and link to it. For the time being:
NOTE: The name on this order MUST match the name on your account AND on past orders. This is to prevent individuals from making name embedded, voice-embedded subliminals for another individual. This will be strictly enforced. Those who break this rule will not be able to make future orders.
You’ll need to record a 1 to 5 minute sample of yourself reading a selection. You can do so in any program, but please save the file as .m4a. No need to overthink this, as long as there are no very loud noises in the background, there should be no issue. If there is, you will be notified by support ticket or email.
You can read whatever you want (as long as the material is not vulgar, these orders will be rejected), but choose something that allows you to be a bit emotive – nothing monotone. If you need help, we have provided a selection from “The Great Gatsby,” considered one of the “Great American Novels”.
Regardless of what you choose, the following needs to be said beforehand:
“I [first and last name], give permission to Subliminal Club and its officers for my voice to be digitally cloned and used strictly ONE time for the creation of a custom subliminal audio product. This subliminal audio product will be delivered directly to me upon creation, and then the digital clone of my voice will be promptly deleted from all services. I understand this clone will be used solely for this stated purpose, and no other, respecting all ethical and legal guidelines.
Please make sure you read this properly, otherwise it will have to be re-recorded. Our voice vendors will not allow us to use the service unless it’s stated exactly as written. If you need it, here is the selection from “The Great Gatsby:”
“And as I sat there, brooding on the old unknown world, I thought of Gatsby’s wonder when he first picked out the green light at the end of Daisy’s dock. He had come a long way to this blue lawn and his dream must have seemed so close that he could hardly fail to grasp it. He did not know that it was already behind him, somewhere back in that vast obscurity beyond the city, where the dark fields of the republic rolled on under the night. Gatsby believed in the green light, the future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter — tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther… And one fine morning… So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”
