I’m running my first stack, New Emperor and Rebirth. Should I run the two titles directly one after another, or do you recommend making a break between them? For example, should I run both titles directly in the morning or should I run Emperor first then later in the day, Rebirth (or vice versa). Do you have some experiences or recommendations? Thanks in advance.
This is the official recommendation.
I run one title in the morning and the other before going to bed. It helps them unfold to a high degree before getting exposed to the other sub. I get more consistent results and I don’t get recon almost at all.
Both options are within the recommended guidelines.
So you’re free to experiment.
I’d see two points to consider and both are related to Recon.
- Processing Load
- Processing Diversity
Processing Load
The more programs you play within a period of time, the ‘heavier’ the load that your mind is processing.
It’s like if you have 2 100-lb weight plates and you want to carry them over to another room that is about 1 or 2 minutes walk from where you are now. It just so happens that you constantly go that room throughout the day anyway. So, you might as well just carry 1 plate with you on one of your trips over there. And then if you want you can rest for a while and carry the other plate over on one of your other trips.
Alternately, you could just pick up all 200 lbs. and walk it over in one go. It’s not necessary, but maybe you just feel like it.
You’ll be a bit more tired if you carry the two plates together, because you’re carrying a heavier load. But it’s still manageable. So, the choice is yours.
Processing Diversity
This is a little different. You’ve got a couple of weight plates to move. But you need to take them to different rooms. One is 5 minutes away to the west on the same floor. The other one is upstairs two floors up and then 10 minutes away to the east.
Again, no problem. You can split them up. Take the first one to the first room. Take a break. And then make another trip to take the second plate to the other room.
Or you can put them both in your rucksack, and make one trip, dropping off one plate in the first room, and then continuing on to drop off the second plate.
This is a case of diversity because you need to travel to two different destinations on your journey.
Heavier load equals more work , and also
More destinations equals more work
In my opinion, Emperor and Rebirth have complementary goals. So (back to the metaphor) even though they’re not taking you to the exact same room, the rooms are still pretty close to each other. Your mind does not have to go to an extremely different place when you shift from Emperor to Rebirth. That, to me, represents less work of the Processing Diversity category. So, I might feel less of a need for a break.
I might even want them to kind of mix together in my mind, like two compatible flavors. So I’d be likely to play them together.
But there’s still the question of basic Processing Load to consider. In the case of subliminals at least, 2 is always heavier than 1. So I will watch to see how I feel after the first program. If I’m very amped up or if I’m very tired, I might want to take a break to either calm down or to regain some energy. But if I feel pretty neutral, then that means the Load isn’t stressing me too much. So since they’re pretty compatible (low diversity), I’d probably jump right into the next one.
A wordy explanation.
But hopefully it gets the point across.
This is very interesting thanks for sharing
Thank you, @Malkuth, for taking the time to write that thorough explanation. The picture with the two heavy weights is fantastic.
Yesterday I tested the approach to separating the two titles, ran Emperor in the morning and rebirth in the afternoon. I didn’t experience heavy reconciliation. Even today, everything is smooth and I feel full of energy. On Monday, I did the other approach and ran both titles directly one after another, first Emperor then Rebirth and the recon was significant. The day after was a “s**” day. Couldn’t concentrate, etc. but that could be doe to a heavy circle training on Monday evening. I will test both approaches in the future to gain more insight, what fits more for me.
circle training?
I’m guessing you’re not talking about ba gua zhang.
Sorry, my german got in the the way I meant Circuit training but with weights.
Didn’t know ba gua zhang.
awesome
