What's wrong with this training and martial arts custom build?

Hey thanks for taking a minute to look at this list, I’m looking to get your advice because you probably see something that I don’t with this build…

Am I missing a module that would make this custom 2x better?
Is there a module that’s not really necessary?
What glaring issue do you see?
Or did I just make the ULTIMATE training custom?

(for context, I’m not new to these cores and train regularly)

Here’s what I came up with and how I’m mentally categorizing the supporting modules:

Cores:
Hero
Spartan
Legacy of the Spartan

Support for Hero
Subconscious Flow
Submodel Alpha

Support for Spartan
Synergy: Thunderstruck
Synergy: Preordained Vitality
SPS Cardiovascular System
Equilibrium

Support for LotS
Synergy: APS Head/Face
Synergy: Inescapable Gaze

Results Enhancement
Omnidirectional
Raikov

Maybe synergy: semper praesens?
Run it with khan black?

Just ideas :+1:

it lacks inexhaustible

The Lines for always being ahead of your opponent… you already have Submodel Alpha… Im not sure how much they differ

Inescapable Gaze doesnt seem to be needed for fighting but maybe its just a module you want

I thought about this one too, will have to give it another ponder

I’ll be finishing up with Dragon Reborn Gold for the next few months, but that’s a cool idea.

Thanks :+1:

you’re right…I’ll have to give it a second look. I reasoned that Spartan and SPS Cardiovascular would cover that base, but not gassing out IS clutch…hmmm

Ok, I like that one too

Yea, the only part of it that doesn’t line up is seducer’s gaze, but I’m thinking that eagle eye, all seeing, and awakened perception would be cool to have in there

Thanks for the ideas :+1:

IDK what martial arts you are into…but if it has an energetic/eastern component, Synergy: Energetic Transcendence could be super helpful…but there we start to go onto a spiritual route…I guess thats only helpful if you have energy work practice.

I would do less modules

Like this

Hero
Spartan
Legacy of the Spartan

Syn. Thunderstruck
Equilibrium
DEUS
Raikov
Stress Displacement
Subconscious flow
All-Seeing

This would probably help my Qigong practice, I’ll give it a look

I 100% agree…I appreciate the list you made. I didn’t really consider DEUS, or that the weight of 4 Synergy modules might be too much

Cheers

Limitless could possibly help you to notice your opponents movements a fraction of a second faster and Elegance. Obviously in addition to what the people above have already said

I like this idea, it’d probably be a good sub to stack with in the future for sure

This didn’t even make my radar…this is a cool out-of-the-box suggestion

Thanks :+1:

@summit

Hero is dense
Spartan is super dense
And Legacy of the Spartan as well

I have a Emperor Fitness ST4 & Spartan custom +14modules and it’s really dense. A little 2 dense for my taste

I would keep your custom with 3 cores as light as possible

Edit: as @Spartan said - inexhaustible

Im doing Spartan + shifting + NSE custom and its easy peasy. Id say let him try. Maybe it will be good for him. It seems people process subs differently.

Sounds like a solid custom.

NSE basically counts as a core module, right?

thanks for the vote of confidence

Yea, I had the same thought…I might be biting off more than I can chew.

The working hypothesis is: since I’ll be in a phase of increased training the next few months, there won’t be a lot of room for recon to creep in. And I’m banking on the virtue scripting not being much of an issue after 5 months of Dragon Reborn Gold.

Maybe that’s wishful thinking

I really want that mastery scripting from Hero though

I get it, same here.

I do Hero this circle as well

I didn’t count it as a core

Did you build it already?

Nah, I held off due to the Thanksgiving holiday
