What's the best stack for a Tech Marketing and Sales Guru?

Hey all!

What’s the best stack for a Marketing and Sales Guru?

Thanks Alot!!

Edit: to be more specific,

I have partnered with a tech wiz and created a revolutionary (for my country atleast) product that doesn’t exist in my country yet.

We are putting the finishing touches… and then we start getting customers.

I am the head of Marketing.

So the goal of the stack would be to

  1. Be on top of newer tech ideas, that can be implemented on the product to give more functionality. I can easily communicate it to my team.
  2. Keep things simple.
  3. Explain my product to people well
  4. Network and make connections
  5. Sell sell sell
  6. Market the product like an expert.

Hey bro! Thanks for the suggestions.

What is you opinion about stark and renaissance man as well? @ksub

Completely useless in my opinion. I am a marketer by the way. I’ve done some sales too.
Stark covers too many things to be quickly effective in sales situations and Renaissance man is completely useless in my opinion.

Marketing and sales is about making money. Nothing else. You need to convince people to buy your product. And most of the time you have to put a ton of action in it and also be ready to learn new things constantly and implement like a machine. So if you’re not going to build a custom for that then True Sell + RICH + Limitless Executive would be the stack I would go with.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions.

What would you suggest if I were to make a custom?

This is not one of the situations where your custom needs a ton of modules. I would build the custom around two cores

True Sell Core
Limitless Executive core
Natural winner
Overdrive
Way of ROI
Furious Ascent
Lifeblood fable
Perfect style and smell
Machine Action
Machine Rest.

Lifeblood Fable because in sales and marketing REPUTATION IS EVERYTHING.
Perfect style and smell because in sales situations, how you look matters just as much as what you say.

@mecharc : I’m not sure how good your self-love/self-esteem is but get ready to face a lot of rejection if you’re going into sales/marketing. Also be aware that one on the things that will 100% kill a sales career is neediness. You just can’t come across needy. There are two fixes for neediness :

  1. A great sales funnel that is always filled with qualified prospects, therefore you don’t have to depend on just a few people to make money.

  2. A bulletproof self-esteem that makes you understand that when people say “no”, they say no to your offer. It’s not a rejection of you as a person.

All that to say that LBFH might very well have a place in a sales/marketing stack.

true sell + rich

Help coming up with creative marketing content?

Apart from listening to the subs, what are you doing to get better at marketing?

Stark plus True Sell would be a good combo in terms of cores.

True Sell and RICH will help you make sales and get money.
Coming up with new content or strategies would require Limitless or Limitless Executive.

nothing really as of yet.
But would love to read and learn. However, I don’t have time to waste on fluff products. as a result I didn’t get started with any learning material yet. If anyone can recommend me some solid stuff… I would be very grateful.

As for action, I am the director of sales management for my family company. for this role, I just need to regulate my salespeople and production unit.

but my role in the new tech business will be different. I will have to make engaging content that can easily make people understand what the product is all about, and how they can benefit from it. I have full faith that The product is top-notch. The Marketing also has to be the same! Then it’s all about conversion!

I just had an update with my tech team. In Sha Allah, we will launch in December.

A couple more questions, as it hopefully will help you to get better advice…

Do you have any existing marketing/sales skills or experience?

Is your product aimed for b2b or b2c market? Is it purely software or a physical product? Is it a one time only purchase or monthly?

Do you have any other products you can sell to them once you get them as your customer?

Do you know yet what marketing channels would be optimal for your product?

Plenty of questions  Just asking them incase it might bring you some ideas.

Brother, I actually have no previous sales or marketing experience.

I am an econ and accounting graduate + masters holder.

I hate it, and don’t see a career in those fields. I generally have a knack for creative stuff plus psychology, but I never dared to venture into those fields in fear of what people would think.

Previously I was just a complainer about circumstances. But now I’m doing everything within my circle of influence to get what I want.

I wanna grow in sales and marketing!

But, I have no theoretical or practical knowledge about either sales or marketing, Apart from the work I’ve done in my family business. However, I am generally creative.

I would love to learn marketing and sales and I apply them.

All I have with me now is a desire to succeed!

I am running a custom with Emperor and True Sell as my cores, and recently added Ecstacy of Gold Stage 1 to stack it with. Having incredible results but it wasn’t until I added E.O.G that things really started to take off. I never thought about the importance of removing my limiting beliefs before but getting rid of the blocks has allowed me to take a significantly higher amount of action. I’m in the sales and marketing field myself, (I mostly do sales and pay my employees to do the marketing aspect) but I highly recommend ecstacy of gold if you have room to include it.

Wow! That sounds amazing.

Would you like to roughly give me some details of how you realised that things started taking off?

@mecharc : To do marketing, you have to learn marketing. Make sure you get on the list for when they reopen this program : Head of Marketing Bootcamp AMA | Replay - DigitalMarketer
