What to use for Yoga Teacher Training?

Hi there

I’ve embarked on a new journey of Yoga Teacher Training 200 ~ virtual intensive.

There’s a lot of information to take in and to practice teaching as well.

I’m finding myself overwhelmed trying to find a way to process everything while also having a good system in place for daily practice of teaching but also for my own enjoyment.

There will be an exam at the end of the 4 months.

I don’t want to experience heavy recon so I am looking for something on the lighter side perhaps.

I want to keep at my business goals, studies & taking care of my 3 kids, while also having time for hobbies too.

I’d like quicker recovery when feeling sore from all this practice.

Paragon

Sounds like you need to do time management mostly so I would say Limitless Executive for that as it also helps with studies with Limitless in their. And Mogul or RICH for business.

I’m using Dragon Reborn in my meditation.

Meditation can be considered a part of the yoga. Yoga involves both physical and mental exercise, poses and breathing exercises, while meditation is about concentration (mental stability).

I listen to subs less than 15 minutes before doing the meditation. My cue is the tingling in my fore head. You will know when your in-One with your environment when you can’t be disrupted.

Meditation makes you become aware on whats on your mind. It becomes more powerful when you do it with your heart.

I will definitely not be using DR during this experience!

I was thinking Limitless Executive & Seductress & maybe alternate with paragon.

That sounds good as well. I would say go for it.

If you had more time, I would recommend Quantum Limitless for the learning and Emperor Fitness for the Yoga.

But since you have four months, I would say Limitless and Spartan: Apex Warrior are your best choices.

I really would recommend you starting Quantum Limitless and Emperor Fitness after you have done your exam. Would be good for gaining deep knowledge of Yoga in your Mind and Body respectively.

Hmm. Revelation of Spirit would be a good title too if you want to go deep into the spiritual aspects of Yoga. Maybe Revelation of Body too when it is released.

So for now:

  • Limitless
  • Spartan: Apex Warrior
  • Revelation of Spirit

Later:

  • Quantum Limitless
  • Emperor Fitness
  • Revelation of Spirit (or Revelation of Body)

What type of listening schedule would you recommend?

I think I’d just listen to them all once a week.

Maybe 1 of each every other day, or limitless & Spartan 1 day & RoS another day.

For RoS, it says begin with shorter listening times? How have people been experiencing this sub?

You can do either way.

Or even do Revelation of Spirit and Limitless on one day and Spartan: Apex Warrior on the other day separately since it is a physical shifting title.

But any combination will work in the long run.

Personally I always run the full 15 minutes of a title and never had any issues doing the same with Revelation of Spirit.

You could try running it for 15 minutes the first time you play it and if you find it overwhelming, run it for 3 minutes the next time for starters and increase the time gradually over the course of days to 5, 7, and 15 minutes.

I’ll second the Spartan & Limitless combo. Spartan for the physical and Limitless for the mind. RoS might be a really good addition, depending on your goals.

Adding to what @Lion aid about listening times: I used to run the full fifteen minutes and it worked, and I never had problems and didn’t find them overwhelming either. Then I figured out that 7 minutes would get me faster execution. Right now I’m using 9 minutes of each sub, and it’s great. This is something you’ll need to experiment with. It’s very individual, and may change.
