True. Whatever recon is, It’s still a part of you. don’t antagonize it too much, you’re stabbing no one but yourself if you do.
acceptance can feel like a paradoxical solution but it’s amazing how effective it is

Native/classic recon is the fight-flight response to the scripting pushing you out of your comfort zone.
Topical recon is a bit more complex but it’s the very same response to the scripting.
Edit:
For native recon I suggest waiting it out, accepting it, journaling what you’re experiencing internally or physical activities, good food, relaxing etc.
For topical recon (related to the topics of the subs you’re running) I suggest running another loop or/and acting in accordance with the topics being reconcilled (ex. procrastination on a productivity sub should be amended by getting yourself into productive flow and getting even the simplest things done despite of not feeling like).
Try this, get an empty journal and write down with full honesty what you are feeling, thinking, and experiencing right now, essentially note down your life with brutal honesty. Very important is to really put your soul into it and get emotionally involved.
Then follow by writing down where you want to be, but write in the present moment as if that is the life you are now living.
Meditate on the image of the life you are now living that you have created in your journal, spice it up with Mind’s Eye if you wish, and after invoking the emotions and vibrations of this new life, take action immediately before it dissipates again.
Obstacles will get in the way, your old persona will try to take hold again, and the vibrations will dissipate… it is a process just keep going and take action until your dream starts to solidify. The cosmos will align in your favor.
“Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:17
Not to get too religious or anything but the new wine is the new spirit you are attempting to create, and this new spirit does not fit in your old bottles aka your old life and its habits, attitudes, its lifestyle, and actions you are taking, so if you do not create the new external landscape that aligns with the internal change of spirit, life and direction it will simply run out and your investment will have been for nothing.
The things that I´ve been supressing, often come up when I am doing my breathing routine. I´m just sitting there, focussing on taking deep belly breaths and suddenly the issue at hand pops into awareness.
Also journaling and expressing everything that pops up mentally/emotionally, often helped.
Especially the things that I find “repetitive” or “unimportant”, hence I´m ignoring them.
These are often the links to the subconscious frameworks that are getting challenged, hence generate the discomfort.
Sometimes I can literally feel the unloading of the negative energy into the paper and out of my system.
Fucking internet keeps crashing lmao.
Honestly believe that we usually don’t need any external advice, but to grow some decent connection to our own guidance/intuition/subconscious.
And then just listen and apply.
The key to fast growth in my experience is using willpower to be present.
You want to be a really heavy rock.
Change is uncomfortable and the mind looks for avenues of distraction, coping mechanisms and avoidance.
That’s how “holding on” looks like.
A good way to put it, is procrastinating change.
It’s not a matter of doing something, it’s a matter of shutting off detrimental pathways that make growth inefficient.
It’s not a matter of saying Yes, it’s a matter of saying No.
It’s not a matter of Addition, it’s a matter of Subtraction.
If you have nothing to procrastinate with, then you have no choice but to take action on your goals. You have no choice but to move through the tunnels of change.
When you become present, you have no choice but to face, process, let go, realize and shift things because there is no outlet for “holding on”.
You have to make sure that you’re not in your own way.
Some people say that it’s difficult to be present like a heavy rock, especially when things are moving around emotionally and uncomfortably.
That depends.
I never lose because I know how shit works and I’m already prepared for it.
You have to always be 10 steps ahead. Don’t let your own mind defeat you.
You can’t lose to fear if you’re already prepared on how to handle it. You especially can’t lose to fear if you see through it and understand it’s not real. This allows for the courage to walk through it despite it still being uncomfortable.
A lot of this is obviously easier said than done. As with all things, extract whatever is useful.
If I run a loop of something, or change my stack… best believe that I’ve already charted out potential ways of expressing recon, coping and distraction that will never claim me. Ever. Stuff is like a video game to me, I don’t lose.
Because when they come, it’s like that movie trope “ahh, I’ve been expecting you”.
Except, imagine Homer in this gif is holding a 12 gauge instead of a cat.
“Hi.”
-BOOM- short-range blast from the 12 gauge.
You know the campers in Call of Duty? They’re just waiting the whole time in that 1 spot… they fucking know you’re going to come.
The shotgun been loaded.
Know your enemy, know your weaknesses, know your processes. If you failed on your mission, then gather intel and do it again.
This is how easy it is… you’re just always ahead. You anticipated everything. Everything is learning.
This is the difference between an advanced user and a beginner.
You have to cut yourself from the cloth and be sharper than the Ginsu you used to fucking cut it with.
Get into the habit of out-thinking yourself.
I’m always at war, I’m always at battle and I’m always playing chess. You have to win everything, you cannot lose to anything. Period. No fucking thing at all, ever. If you live in this mindset 24/7, you will be surprised at how easy things become. Life becomes like cruise control.
It’s like using a gaming PC for every day basic tasks. It’s too much. It’s overkill.
You will get confidence off this shit and get high off it because absolutely nobody can deny the standard you’re putting yourself to everyday - not even yourself. Fuck it, not even god.
Once you start winning these games then you’ll cultivate personal power. Your being will become an indomitable fortress in any realm of change, transition, growth and action. Basically, like Neo in the Matrix. Know all, see all, and be prepared for all. The all-seeing eye.
The master of self. The tour guide to your inner journeys. Your inner self. Been through every cave. Been at the top of every mountain. Been underneath every catacomb. Dived into every fucking ocean. Explored every terrain. Sailed every sea.
The list goes on.
More people need to be methodical about their growth process if you ask me, lol. They’re too sloppy. You should always be seated in personal power, and your focus should shift cleanly, precisely and powerfully like gears on AMG mode. V20 engine. Already V20? Good. That was last week, let’s go V100.
If you’re sloppy, lackadaisical and splattered everywhere… then good luck. One can never be stagnated in this earth game. You have to consume growth like candy. Like how Godzilla consumes radiation energy.
Forget ROI as in Return on Investment of time/energy.
Think bigger. Think in terms of Return on Investment of Consciousness.
Also, thanks for reminding me of the PMO post, lol.
I would probably add this to it:
If you are trying to quit masturbation and porn, you’ve already lost.
If you’re doing NoFap, you’ve already lost.
I’ve been trying to figure out for the longest time why people are struggling with something that has been so easy for me. It’s very difficult. It’s like having success and trying to give advice to others about success… when you yourself don’t really understand the root of what made you so successful.
It’s like shooting in the dark.
I did a lot of introspection and this is what I’ve come up with.
Basically, I live life like they aren’t options in my human experience. My mind interprets them as if they don’t exist as outlets.
For me, it’s either real women or nothing/wet dream. There is nothing else to me, and I don’t believe in anything else. There are no other options, they don’t exist. If you can commit to that, be at peace with it, never think about it again, and just live your life in that manner (changing the rules), then you will never struggle… because it doesn’t exist.
You can’t quit something that isn’t an option.
You can’t struggle with something that isn’t an option.
There can be no potentiality whatsoever, you have to basically delete it.
That was easy for me to do because I’m obsessed with growth and I realized that if those are your only 2 outlets (real women or nothing/wet dream) then you will become a natural powerhouse in pretty much every aspect. All of your quality of life will skyrocket because you’re pro-active and riding the current of an actualized man who puts himself out there, takes risks, and lusts for growth.
Your willpower becomes introverted and your personal power becomes extroverted.
Your personality trait becomes fucking excellence.
Funnily enough, as nature intended. Meet me there.
Relinquishing that potentiality on an extreme manner is 101% uplifting. You aren’t losing a single thing and you are gaining absolutely everything. Life becomes different. How it should be and how it should’ve been. What’s understood doesn’t need to be said.
Anyways, this comes from my extremist type of thinking. I’m a high risk-taker and I do things very polarizing like 0 to 100 style.
What I’m writing here is not something you “try”. It’s a commitment to the boundaries of your free will as a human. A commitment to where you’ve completely relinquished the potential and plausibility of a specific outlet, action and way of living.
Video games. Change the settings.
Exactly
I´m not counting days anymore.
I want to have a certain sexlife and it´s only logical, that affirming something less, will only lead to blocking the new staus quo.
Why should I get the good shit when I´m breathing trash.
Also, the drive I get after a few weeks of transmuting is absolutely amazing, the amount of energy I can draw from within for workouts, work, writing…
Your post about porn and how it affects the internal alchemy of the user, is excatly what I´ve experienced in the past.
Nothing is as damaging and draining as this.
Nothing has crushed momentum of mine as the use of porn.
Everytime I´ve used it, I´ve lost between 3weeks-1,5 months of momentum in my development.
Got a lot of work to do, but I´m on my way. If I remember correctly, you´ve started off with Subclub as the same age as me now.
I don´t have the ability to put the topics into words like that, and I´m not nearly at your consistency and discipline, but I can very much relate to your mental framework.
I find your posts often reaffirming, what is going on inside my own head.
So thanks for being you, and being here
That post was basically a masterclass on porn, I had to delete it lmao. That type of breakdown is equivalent to revealing the veil on porn to see the entirety of how it fucks one over through every precise mechanism. It was nasty work hahaha.
Felt weird posting a 0.001% breakdown on a random journal in a public forum.
I PM’ed it to you, if it helps.
Cheers lol
Also, don’t listen to people who say “I watch porn but I have no trouble attracting women or sex”.
It means nothing.
In 2023, getting sex for a man is very easy. Way more easier than people think.
It’s all about quality of sex/relationship, of which 100% of porn addicts have a low tier quality in.
Has anyone tried ego admun for helping to be more present?
I get really lazy and feed myself on junky netflix movies. For me personally i found that if i drink a can of C4 it pulls me out of recon.
How long do you guys get recon for until you don’t? curious to hear everyone else’s personal experience
Dont give me the “it depends on the sub” . Lets just hear some average numbers
I ran 3 zps in one day, recon hit me like a truck the same day. Took 1 rest day and it was gone the next day. Keep in mind I slept for more than 11 hours on my rest day and had some of the best sleep I ever had.
What about long term. How long do you run a sub in x number of days before you don’t really get recon anymore from it at full loops.
I think the main issue was that I listened to all three back to back.
If subs were spaced out through out the day then I would have been fine.
Reading success stories and journals on the forums also helps with pushing through Recon
I would run a title in small increments, for example 30 seconds to one minute and see the results. If I experienced a Recon I would decrease the duration and the rest days. If I get a results, there are results with Recon and results without Recon, I first do the same duration before increasing the increment. If I become comfortable with the setting (without Recon) I will listen to it at 15 minutes. When I did this, I can see results right away without listening to titles at long periods of time. You can really see the NEW You.
This is something I’m starting to do lately. Intuitive listening
Subliminal Club should add this to their list of recon symptoms:
Asking absolutely stupid and dumb questions.
