You beat me to the punch. Exactly. That scene gets me every time. The Emperor is killing Luke, and you can see Darth Vader struggling with himself. An awesome moment.

I grew up listening to Rick and I have seen him live three times

I don’t know about “affected”, but to me Ned Stark’s death is the best death in TV history. It really set the tone for the entire series, which would’ve been the greatest show in history had it never aired its last 2 seasons.

Another good one: Both Root and Reese in “Person of Interest”. Like damn.
I wasn’t affected by Carter’s death so much because her last episode felt so rushed. Like accommodating her desire to leave the show more than anything else.
