It’s an identity that I’ve worked on for many years.
What I expect and how I experience it.
Daily inside job.
If I can do it so can you.

Normalancy
Letting go of all the recon from running to many subs, and clarity of what actually happened and will work better
@TheEmpress Not trying to hijack your thread but I will say that most if not all my skepticism around things comes from serious trust issues
Washout is minimum a week, 5 days is only extra processing time.
One thing is admitting that, next step is to be aware that scepticism brought you to where you are now and to get to another place you have to let go to as much scepticism as you feel is acceptable. Also while letting go be grateful for scepticism because it fulfilled its purpose for you.
I see where I had some funny recon last night thinking how I have posted this question more than one time at various stages of my subliminal journey.
I started thinking that maybe @SaintSovereign or @Fire think I’m nuts and went down a brief trail of harmful thinking towards myself. I noticed how this showed up in my physical body and energy field. I became aware of my body in space. It was trippy.
I went to bed early and slept for almost 9 hours to follow. Don’t recall any dreams. I needed to go to my bear cave and nurture myself apparently.
I believe no 2 peoples experiences are the same with this process and no 2 people have the same processing cue. I also believe no 2 cycles are the same. All depending on your stack and how you’re feeling on all energetic levels. Maybe you have a lot of crap going on within your immediate surroundings. Maybe you’re stressed the eff out and not resting. Adding more stress to your nervous system may not be great and a longer wash out could do you some good in that situation.
Someone like @Invictus has super high flow factor so he probably doesn’t need any wash outs or very brief pauses before resuming. (Thought of this while driving near the lake yesterday.)
I feel like a right now. Curious and a bit jumpy.
Heraclit said panta rhei, meaning everything is in constant movement and ever-changing. You can’t enter the same river 2 times.
So absolutely.
And about skepticism…
My mentor always asks if we know a happy skeptic. Because there is none. Happiness could hula dance naked in front of him and he wouldn’t recognize it as happiness.
He’d always doubt it.
A friend of mine is a professional skeptic. Meaning he was writing his thesis in philosophy, titled Skepticism as a Lifestyle
I really liked him. And there were many things he enjoyed. But deep down he was always miserable and depressed.
And yes, it is a trust issue.
He didn’t trust in life. He couldn’t. He always doubted that good things will stay. And usually they didn’t. He chased them away with his distrust.
I see the same thing happen in many relationships. Women that made bad experiemces before can’t simply imagine, that love is genuine, so they doubt it until it’s gone. Maybe it’s also a thing with man, but I only know of this with woman.
My fiancee was the same. The kind of love I gave her was something she didn’t know from the past and made her almost end our relationship a few times. Learning to trust took a long time. And my pornaddiction didn’t make it any easier.
If someone is running microloops is a long washout even necessary?
I’d guess it depends on how easy your mind processes subs.
Someone like Invictus probably not.
Someone who’s getting recon with 30 seconds probably.
And now I’m over here feeling ready to listen to LB and I’m only on day 3 of wash out.
I’m enjoying the results. Hmm.
I’m debating one cycle of just LB & Seductress.
Intuitive nudge or recon or the intuitive nudge is recon.
Very relatable.
Probably why love bomb is a good title for me for at least 2 to 3 cycles.
Blooming time
I’m doing a 3.5 week washout right now.
Did a 5 week washout in from late November to January.
April 2023 I did a 7 week washout. (had actually forgotten about that one until I just checked.)
I think there are a lot of potential benefits to doing longer washouts.
To reconnect with a sense of your own self-efficacy. Like when a person leaves their comfortable home and goes to live on the land for a month. Remembering their skills, their talents, their resilience, and so on. Connecting with the strength and capacity that is right inside of you without the normal aids and assists.
For a person like that, even after they return to their tools and comforts, they’ll use them better.
(Reminds me of that old point: If you gave a 13th century Mongolian (the right Mongolian, haha) a MacBook, it might be all they would need to organize and take over a continent. For us, we use it to watch Netflix and read emails.)
This is a normal reason for doing a washout. Our minds are processing this input over long periods of time. The sub is not just a ‘mechanical’ push that 'runs out of momentum shortly after you’ve stopped playing it. It has an INFORMATIONAL component.
If you learn a great recipe for baking delicious cookies, and then you bake them successfully a few times, you don’t need to keep constantly re-reading the recipe every day for fear that it will ‘run out’.
At some point, you have actually learned something, and you can take the show on the road.
Give yourself a bit of time to see how much you’ve grown, and to see who you are now.
Get to know yourself and become confident in what you can achieve on your own. This will strengthen your results, even with the subliminals. (This is very similar to point #1).
You can see that a lot of people on here start talking as if they would not be able to achieve anything in life without subs. That’s not true, and it’s a shame.
With any given stimulus, there’s a natural process of habituation. The body and mind adjust to the input. On the one hand that’s great, because we are able to process the input more efficiently. But on the other hand, sometimes we also do not respond quite as much to a stimulus or input that has just had a constant and ceaseless exposure.
Familiarity breeds contempt, and absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Take a vacation from a place, a person, a neighborhood, a situation, and then come back to it and see it with fresh eyes. You may even notice and experience new things about it that you had either forgotten or never noticed at all.
And it’s not just about enhancing and refreshing sensitivity to the sub. It’s also about doing the same for your sensitivity to the environment and to your self.
The fuel and the foundation that makes all of this work is Action. The point of a washout does not have to be about stoppage of the subliminal, rather it can be about an increased focus on pure action for some period of time. Remember the whole point to why you started doing this in the first place. There are things that you want to do, to experience, to have. So place a direct relationship with those at the forefront for a while, and remember the Actions that you are really about. Remember what you are about. And then, yeah, of course, pick your tools back up again.
A lot of overlap between those points; but, anyway, that’s what I think.
Am kind of tired right now, so I hope all of this makes sense. Just one more person’s opinion.
@Fire has mentioned a " subconscious processing queue " a couple of times. Curious to learn more about that
Love it. Thank you. That was well received.
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Two more reasons:
If you’re in the habit of running heavy, dense stacks, then a longer wait may be needed to truly give your system the chance to rebalance.
This one’s about attitude. Just the pride and self-respect of standing up on your own two.
Remember how with every superhero story there was always an issue or episode in which the hero lost his/her powers and had to learn to reconnect with what truly made them a hero?
Trite cliche or not, there’s a real power in learning to respect yourself based on what you carry inside and bring to a situation rather than the rewards, accolades, or opportunities you’re lucky enough to receive from the outside.
Making contact with—-and solidifying—-that dignity that can never be taken from you.
So, yes, two more reasons for a longer washout.
Allowing the results to bloom more than ever. Washouts are awesome. Thats where the miracles happen
This is actually correct. Integration of experience is important.
There is a tub. This is the subconscious processing queue.
You start to fill it with water. This is the information from the subliminal.
You open the drain.
The water begins to drain slowly. This is the information from the subliminal being processed.
If you fill the tub with too much water (information), it will take longer to drain (process).
You can help the tub drain quicker by grabbing a bucket and taking some of the water out. This is what happens when you take action toward your goals. The queue is processed quicker through experience, as opposed to allowing it to happen mentally when you don’t take action.
