Verbal fluency reconciliation

Anyone experienced verbal fluency recon? How do you deal with it? I can’t formulate sentences properly and it’s annoying lol. Yesterday was my listening day and I felt great, but today…

If my ability to articulate goes to crap that’s when I know I overexposed. I’ve had many days at my job sending an email that I thought was fine but after reading it back it was like a robot had a glitch mid sentence and either the wrong word was used or got doubled up in a strange way.

My recommendation would be to cut back on your time until you don’t notice that happening.

Interesting thing is that it occasionally happens. I sometimes run 15min loops and i’m completely fine afterwards, sometimes I get recon. Same thing happens with 5min loop. Yesterday I ran 3:30min of Ascension and 5:30 of LBfH.

For me its the same as @Fractal_Explorer

I had this over the holidays. My posts from that time read like a computer translation from 15 years ago.

Serious overexposure.

I cut back on my listening times seriously. Like 2x15 minutes to 2x3 minutes. Helped tremendously. Everything back to normal.

If it’s a serious problem for you right now, take a break for a few days and cut listening time.

Hm, maybe it’s accumulated overexposure. Thanks for inputs @Fractal_Explorer @Parsifal

This makes sense. Your capacity for input changes drastically depending on what else is going on in your life. Maybe those times you ran 15 minutes you were under less stress. Also without fully knowing the underlying process for how all this works I can say that excess exposure time does stack for me, then delays, then gets decompressed days later where I get hit with it all at once. So gauging how it influences me a day after listening isn’t always accurate.

This is common. You need to sleep. That’s how this resolves. Sleep and eat an energetically dense meal.

Glad to know it’s common ^

Sometimes subs do that that me.
I just assumed it was too much input.
It goes away.

Wot yo mean? I donk understang :upside_down_face:

With Zp v1 I experienced that my stuttering was much worse the next day after listening. In the end, I found out that it was too loud. Now I am doing 3% of the total sound and everything is ok.

Even if I have very bad sleep or a headache from recon my speech is always normal.

Didn’t know volume can cause recon as well :flushed:. My default Windows volume for headphones is 68% and VLC’s volume is 22-25%.

Try to lower it so that you almost can not hear it, but you hear a bit from it.

I do not remember exactly how was my volume when this was happening, but I think it was around 20% - 30% of volume or maybe even more.

I am not saying that it causes recon, I do not know. All I know is that my stuttering was worse.

Saint mentioned years ago that he listened at the time only to masked and only at a low-ish volume, because ultrasonic made him angry (recon) and high volume masked did the same as ultrasonic (recon).

This exactly matched my experience at the time, so now I also only listen to masked at like 12% volume on speakers or like 40% volume with AirPods.
