Ultrasonic - one question

…which probably has been answered before, although I don’t find any.
I used Ultrasonic (Diamond) today for the first time -
and I wonder: There is no sound AT ALL? Is that correct? Nothing? Not even a water creek like in all the Masked ZP Subs?
I am just asking - because since there is a warning not to hear it over headphone, so I hear it over the speaker of my iMac. But how can I tell whether the volume is okay if I don’t hear anything at all?
Confused… and thankful for any help.
Al

Please go back and read the instructions on how to use ultrasonic files and follow them. Do it before you damage your hearing.

They are made to be that way.

To understand ultrasonic files and how to run them, read this support article.

I did. But I wonder how to adjust the right level without having to download an extra app to indicate the right volume
which is only for Android/iOS - and I am using an iMac
the app can be used on an iPad only, or an Android phone

Run the Masked audio and lower its volume until you can just about hear the sound. Use the same volume for the Ultrasonic file.

Are you sure this is accurate? Measurements in the sound card suggest a big difference in volume last I checked.

To elaborate, it appeared the ultrasonic was much louder.

It’s accurate in a sense according to Saint’s instructions.

If one wants to be more accurate, it is better to use the FrequenSee app and follow the directions given in the SupportHub.

I have the concern that FrequenSee can be inaccurate due to the phone’s mic and its frequency response.

Unfortunately I don’t know too much about this. Please raise this concern by submitting a ticket.

I personally don’t use ultrasonic since I have mild tinnitus.
