Hero: The Light that Blinds: EARTH would be classic.
Actually, that and Godlike Masculinity seem like they would also support very solid Zhan Zhuang practice and development (in addition to AEON etc.)
There’s a certain way that you sometimes want to forget all about energy completely, and just focus in on the grounded embodiment of the practice. Feeling the Earth. Being the Earth. ROOTING. (The paradox being that this will also lead to a free flow of energy.)
No philosophy.
No visualization.
Just standing.
And seeking alignment.
And interesting supportive side strategy: CHOSEN: The Way of Nature. Then go outside and practice.
All of that is from HERO. The capacity to appreciate a standard, a principle, a vision; and to embody it into mastery.
And Godlike Masculinity, the capacity to feel quite at home and at ease doing that; because it’s natural to who and how you are. It’s natural to be someone whose word and whose intention matter. It’s natural to be someone who stands on the Earth as an extension of strength.
You don’t always need the Energy Program to enhance energy. Energy is inherent in everything; so every program here could potentially be harnessed to cultivate energetic development/refinement in particular ways.
Assuming you already know about AEON and the other titles @Fire has created (who is a Neidan instructor), I’d try Summertime. I know, it sounds like an odd choice. But it has assisted with my own Qigong / Neidan practice deeply. It helps a lot with relaxation and remaining in the moment. A LOT.
Godlike Masculinity was another that helped me. It helped with the fortitude to get through a “boring practice” without collapsing into mental rumination.
LBFH and Dragon Reborn: Regeneration made my practice a bit unbalanced (I’m not saying the title is unbalanced, but for the purposes of energetic arts, it didn’t quite fit me – just being as helpful as I can). As soon as I would start hitting that calm, in-the-moment state, I’d find myself flooded with this deep feeling of love, which distracted from the practice. I loved those titles outside of the practice, but when it came to which out of the nervous system regulation titles helped the most, Summertime.
I am surprised Alchemist: Singularity has not been mentioned so far. It is the primary title I run for these practices, and Zhan Zhuang, if done correctly in silence and proper posture, will create strong energetic flows. Singularity helps with exactly that.
