Subliminals are a method of interacting and communicating with your own deep, generative mind.
In the beginning and in the end, that’s what they are.
The deep mind is mythopoetic. It is symbolic. It is metaphoric.
It is, thus, easy to slip into superstition about this ontological level. It’s not even always a bad thing.
But it’s not for me. I prefer to be post-superstitious. Recognizing that reality itself is more protean, malleable, and contingent than we tend to suppose.
Interacting respectfully with the deep, generative mind.

Yesterday, I shifted to the new listening instructions. Played one loop of Ecstasy of the Golden One.
Tomorrow, I’ll play Alchemist 3 and Khan Black 3. And, for now, I’ll follow this approach. See if I notice anything.

I’ve refined my planned custom:

I’ll sit with this over the next couple of months. The plan is to begin playing it on 20 May 2026, when I start the play period after next. At that point, Alchemist 4 and Khan Black 4 will transition into Alchemist Royal: AEON.
Also, by that point I will have:
- Completed my year+ - long run of Ecstasy of Gold Stage I (on 10 March for Ecstasy of Gold I pure and on 24 March for Name-Embedded version)
- Done a RICH run-through from March 25 or so until 14 May 2026.
So I should have some sense of RICH at that point, and hopefully be ready to combine it with Ecstasy of Gold Stage II.
A major focus after May 2026 will be on moving from contemplation to action; just as a down-to-earth baseline way of being.
Originally, I was thinking I might keep going indefinitely with Ecstasy of Gold Stage I; but I’m seeing it differently now. (Took some time to revisit the Ecstasy of Gold product description of Stages I and II.)
And so, here we are and here we go.

What Alchemist and Khan Black are giving me (or facilitating) seems to be
Ontological Engagement, Development, and Expansion.
Figure-Ground Reversal, for example.
It’s conventional to experience oneself as a little node of ego; with the ‘World’ as the background or the contextualizing backdrop or location to the movements of this little ego, often called ‘the self’, which is at the center of ‘the World’: hence, ‘egocentrism’.
But the actual center is ‘The World’, ‘The Cosmos’, and the ego is more like a tiny little blip or wave or wrinkle in that. The only reason that people don’t always organize things in this way is lack of energy and perspective.
Like an electron moving up (and restabilizing in) increasingly expansive and higher energy level configurations, our ontological reference can include and integrate more than the typical lowest-common denominator version.
And that’s happening, I think.

There is nothing that you can be, do, or attain in this life that prevents you from being Consciousness first, before all else.
At best, you can manage a temporary, desperate distraction.
But we are what we are.
This is the true reason that envy is erroneous.
In most cases, what you believe you envy is actually someone else’s desperate and inevitably-doomed-to-fail distraction; rather than a truly and objectively better situation or condition.

This is true, often time what we envy may be what another person dislikes.
However, wouldn’t defining a situation or condition as “better” or “worse” always be subjective and based on one’s current position?
Hence, another person situation may or may not be better for us, and we would only be able to know for sure by experimenting directly?
In any case I totally agree that none of it prevent us from putting consciousness ver matter, or to stay aware through it of what really matter.

Valid points. My own orientations are a little different. And I think that’s fine. I’ll still express my own orientations, however; since this is a journal, and it seems like a good place to do it.

This ‘better’ and ‘worse’ are inherently mutable and unstable. They’re worth fighting for, but not worth fighting over.
Envy, in the moment, as a subjective sensation is fine. At any rate, it’s going to arise, and is not a bad thing if harnessed. Like a northwesterly wind. It’s not going to last. And it’s not somehow the ‘true’ or ‘fundamental’ direction of wind. Yet, while it’s here, you are wise to deal with it. And if you’re not solid, it may blow you right over.
Envy as an ontological proposition—a statement of reality—is false. Full of (genuine) sound and fury; (yet) signifying nothing. It is simply not what it seems to be.
But I believe that there is a definition of ‘better’ or at least of ‘good’ that could be defined with something approaching objectivity. It would be the existential equivalent of a concept like ‘Fitness’ or ‘Thriving Health’. And my point is that envy often purports to have some relationship to that; but it does not. (Or at least it does not do it very well.)
We define overall health and wellbeing on the basis of evolutionarily determined heuristics and imperatives. For example, when judging the health of a mating partner, we look at the skin and ignore the kidneys. And, again, this often works reasonably well. But it’s illusive (based on misleading perceptions).
If you know that you are consciousness, the path to a life of wellbeing and thriving looks one way. If you don’t quite realize that you are consciousness; it can look another.
For me, I say not ‘Consciousness over matter’, but ‘consciousness AS matter’.
I imagine so-called ‘matter’ as a phase of consciousness; similar to how ice is a phase of water.
One is not before the other.They ARE one another.
We’re living in a world in which we have not yet realized that the iceberg and the ocean around it are the same thing.
