I know how that sounds but believe me, buteyko is too powerful.
Yes. But the whole truth is that you won’t achieve high results with buteyko alone. Your diet has to be good and you have to exercise enough. There are some other nuances as well but breathing is the core.
Well, it’s not like a one time technique but rather a consistent practice of health improvement. So, technically, you’d be doing it your whole life lol
Buteyko has this metric called control pause. It’s a simple test which you can learn here
Now, hear me out. 20 seconds is kinda the average nowadays. Maybe even 15. At 60 seconds, on average, people need 4-5 hours of sleep. At 180 CP you only need 2 hours of sleep. Naturally. No alarms, no sleep deprivation - you have so much energy and recover so good, you don’t need any more sleep.
My personal best record is 51 seconds of morning(!) control pause (so around 60-70 seconds during the day) and my sleep has decreased to about 5 hours per night, with tons of other benefits.
Buteyko works mainly through the Bohr effect - the more CO2 you have, the better you absorb oxygen. CO2 alone also has lots of benefits
You can learn the method and the details on the website I linked. I can talk about buteyko all day lol
well, for this I am actually not knowledgeable but smart people recommended it to me. Afaik it increases melatonin synthesis so should help with sleep.
As far as I understand it, yes. I sleep better with the wristband and it also calms me down very fast
yes, though I’d assume being barefoot in soil has many more benefits. BTW, grounding is also mentioned on that buteyko website!
