There’s different subs you could take which would have different approaches but Heartsong would be the one if you want a committed relationship with a girl perfect for you.

My impression from the description of Wanted is that the hot-cold approach to seduction might be very effective at attracting women but less useful for having a healthy relationship.

Yes it can.
But Heartsong is geared towards finding the soulmate, why would you not go for that right from the start? 
I think HS, maybe indirectly, contains healing scripting so you first of all KNOW who your soulmate is and who you truly want.

If I was in the dating market and looking for a girlfriend, which is not the most complicated thing in the world (depending on where you’re coming from), I would stack :
- Ascension (for status)
- Libertine (for romantic/sexual attraction)
- Love Bomb (for additional romantic attraction)
And I’ll go about living my life and act on opportunities as they present themselves (which they will).
Now, if you’re the shy type or you’ve never had a girlfriend or you’re doubting yourself, you can do it in 2 phases:
Phase 1 : LBFH + Ascension (for a few months), to get your self esteem up. Don’t go try to get a girlfriend if you have low self esteem issues. Like attracts like. You’ll most likely attract girls with similar type of issues and you’re headed for a complicated relationship.
Phase 2 (after healing) :
- Ascension (for status)
- Libertine (for romantic/sexual attraction)
- Love Bomb (for additional romantic attraction)

I’d say it depends…
If you’re young, the “baseline” for a gf may be as simple as attitude and looks.
As you get older, you’ll need more… mid 20s into your 30s… you’ll need financial status as well, as girls that age (and rightly so!) are probably looking for more than a casual/fun relationship. I’m generalizing, of course…
Ultimately, the best advice I can give is summed up by a quote I heard in a podcast years ago when I was wallowing in the self-pity of a trainwreck implosion of an “it’s complicated”…
“To get the girl of your dreams, you need to become the guy of hers.”
The level to which you need to achieve depends on what you’re looking for at your stage in life.

You gotta decide what kind of person you want to be. Look 5 years down your timeline. You’ve got the perfect kind relationship (perfect for you).
Look at how that person walks, talks, acts, and all that.
Then just look at the objectives of the subs available and see which subs’ objectives have the most overlap.
Sometimes, you can do that and get the most from the fewest number of subs. That applies when running subs together.
Sometimes, you’ll need to look at sequential sub use so that subs can build on the success of previous subs.
Use the subs (and other tools) to help take on the beliefs, identity and habits that future you has. AND to discard the beliefs, idenity and habits you currently have which future you wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole.

Find out what kind of girls/women you find attractive.
Find out what they like or what their boyfriends/lovers have in common or where do you typically meet those women.
Do a self check if and which qualities you want to develop (those qualities don’t automatically get you women, it just gets you closer to their target area).
Then (in my opinion) while building those qualities for yourself and your future (subs can help), heal yourself from trauma/low self esteem and build confidence, core values that you can be proud of and that you live, build a network of people who fit those core values, live your life and start dating women while you are busy living and having a life.
