Subliminal use is safe when used by someone with a clear and sound mind?

Continuing the discussion from Best sub for low self esteem:

I’m a bit perplexed by this comment that subliminals are safe for those with a sound mind. Many people who come to sub club use them to help improve their state of mind and to get clear of blocks and traumas etc…

Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Bipolar, ADHD, OCD…these do not constitute a sound mind.

That would seem to apply to many people here and would disqualify a lot of users.

Isn’t that the reason there are such subs as Regeneration, Elixir, Sanguine…?

So, if someone has physical symptoms of psychological distress, are the owners of sub club telling us we should not use their subliminals?

What about programs such as Paragon that are said to be excellent in helping to eliminate tension headaches?

I understand that these are not intended to cure or treat any medical condition, and I don’t have a formal diagnosis. But having seen multiple doctors over more than a decade I still don’t feel closer to a resolution, and they haven’t been able to offer the answers for me.

There have been multiple scans and tests done, and no physical anomaly has been found.

Closest they presume is a type of somatic symptom.

So yes, I have attended many doctors, visited psychologists, seen a neurologist, and even psychiatrist.

They would prescribe anti-depressants, and anti-anxiety medications…

What I don’t understand is why I am being told that subliminals, and therapies such as hypnosis, spiritual practices that deal with energy are being discouraged, and that even breathing techniques could be dangerous for me?

Most doctors are not that familiar with the various tools, practices or modalities to comment on their helpfulness or not.

@SaintSovereign has his reasons i’m sure

I think the operative words here are could be. None of us here on the forum that I’m aware of operate for free as clinical psychologists or doctors offering advice to someone they don’t know based on a few lines of text describing their mental or health related problem.

It would be dangerous to give someone who has a problem serious enough to cause noticeable physical symptoms like that that a recommendation to use any tool that is going to cause a change in your state of consciousness that could further unbalance the mind or cause “reconciliation”. Even pranayama can change your state of consciousness. Binaurals and other frequency related videos can do. Subliminals definitely can.

It would be like handing you a pair of dice at a roulette table and telling you to place all your money on lucky seven.

This is not new.

“Please note that subliminal audio is NOT a replacement for proper care by a qualified mental health practitioner, nor is it a cure for any psychological issues. Please see a qualified mental health practitioner before using any of our subliminal audio and/or hypnosis programs. Stress and anxiety are normal things that everyone experiences every day, unless you experience them to an incredible amount, which must then be treated by a qualified medical professional.

Depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD – we have never made claims that our products treat these conditions. In fact, whenever someone makes us aware that they suspect that they may have these conditions, we have the exact same response: go see a qualified medical and / or mental health professional. Search the forum for the term “qualified medical professional,” and you’ll see this isn’t the first time I’ve said that.

And rightfully so. Get the proper help.

No, having common symptoms of day to day stress is fine. Yes, Paragon can help with stress headaches. You, however, posted this:

The term “neurological disorder” is what caused your post to get flagged and for me to agree with that flag. Subliminals are NOT a cure for a neurological disorder. We’ve never stated that they were, and if you look at our titles, you’ll see that we specifically stay away from creating titles that could trick people into thinking they are a “cure.”

Because you are mixing multiple modalities – subliminals, morphic fields, brainwave entrainment. I suspected this before I checked your PMs, which I have to do in situations like this. I barely have time to respond on the forum, so I definitely don’t have time to read everyone’s messages, but we do not hide the fact that from time to time, we will look.

But, I figured it anyway, based on the symptoms you posted. While this does not constitute medical advice and you need to see a qualified mental health professional, your symptoms very much match those of a “premature Kundalini awakening.” Whether you believe in Kundalini or not, STOP MESSING AROUND WITH YOUR ENERGY SYSTEM AND MIXING SUBS AND A BUNCH OF OTHER MODALITIES.

There is a reason that our philosophy here is to run your stack and take action. It’s a very simple process. You run your titles, you take action, you get results, you journal, rinse lather and repeat. Instead, everyone wants to hack the process even more and mess with things that shouldn’t actually be toyed around with, and it’s happening more and more.

So, as frustrated as you may be, our only advice right now is for you to see a qualified medical and / or mental health professional.

He said that if you have those symptoms, then you are potentially opening yourself up to trouble.

Hypnosis, subliminals, frequencies, spiritual practices and energy work, etc are risky business when you have a neurological disorder or mental health problem.

It’s not something you advocate for or encourage.

Subliminals especially are never a substitute for seeing a medical doctor or mental health professional.

If you have anything like this,

It’s still always encouraged to seek a mental health professional before considering the usage of subliminals.

In other words, the advice you were given is nothing new and quite logical.

Understand that there are a lot of people with crazy syndromes, disorders, brain damage and poor mental health that go to these modalities for a solution but it’s not safe. It shouldn’t be a priority, replacement or substitution. Subliminals are never advertised as such and not meant to give that impression.

These are self-help tools lol.

As I made clear in my post, I have already sought help from qualified medical and mental health professionals, and they have not been able to discover the issue apart from vague connections to anxiety or depression and have not managed to effectively diagnose or treat it.

No physical or nervous system or brain disease has been found; I used the term neurological disorder to describe a symptom, perhaps an unwise choice of words.

If it has developed from traumas, energetic blockages, repressed or suppressed emotions etc, are those not what these subliminals are proported to fix?

For clarification I am not mixing subliminals with other modalities. I had a brief season of just a couple of weeks earlier in the year when I did introduce morphic fields, and also a bit of Bwe. Soon I realised that was counterproductive and so I ceased.

If you read the description and objectives of the healing subs, I don’t think you can just say they are being presented to only help with average daily stress or mood problems:

Here is an example-

“Regeneration is a revolutionary subliminal of emotional healing. Remove and heal all traumas and emotional vulnerabilities that you have. No more will you have to constantly work on healing yourself emotionally. You will regenerate your true, uninjured self”

  • Complete emotional, mental and spiritual healing, as many traumas, limiting beliefs and emotions are found on multiple layers of being – especially the deeper, more core ones.
  • Allow yourself to finally release all unresolved issues and traumas…

So, although sub club is not making medical claims, it cannot be said that healing is not suggested or that there is no expectancy setup leading to hopes of such.

Again, I never said that I was using subliminals as a tool in order to cure this mysterious issue.

Of course, I have pretty much exhausted the conventional system, and their approach, which has not worked or provided much help.

And if this was a premature awakening, I don’t see how seeking a mental health or medical professional would be useful for that.

Once more I never said I was not continuing to see a doctor or therapist, and I realize these subliminals are only at best supplementary and not a substitute, however I don’t believe I ever implied that they were, or would take forum members responses as medical advice.

This is not a debate. Our disclaimers are clear – subliminals are not for treating medical conditions. If you (or anyone else reading) felt the disclaimer was not clear, let me clarify again. Subliminals are not for treating medical conditions. For that, please see a qualified medical professional.
