Stack for new project

Hi guys,

I have been recently given a project at work whcih I really have no idea how to do. Basically the CEO came to me and said, find ways to make us more profitable. I know we think about this and think either increase prices or reduce costs, but he expects me finding efficiencies in processes, products, marketing, communication, etc. A lot of these stuff is out of my area of expertise, but as he said: “you don’t have to come up with the ideas yourself, get other people involved and get them to give you the ideas and implement, try and test stuff, form a multidisciplinary small team and lead them.”

He has given me freedom to do/try whatever I want, this sounds great but my company is burocratic as hell, so really I need to convince a lot of people to try new things. So I need to:

Get this project to be a success
Form & lead a new team
Come up with new ideas that are out of the box
Get people to come up with new out of the box ideas
Get people to trust me and not be afraid to give and try new stuff
Sell the ideas to the managing board so they allow me to test them
break some rules and not get in trrouble, talk my way out of it
Be great at talking in public and convince people
Confidence
Convince people into doing the heavy lifting so I can just lead. (I still have my job responsibilities this is a side project, still a very important one as the CEO said, this is the opportunity that migh launch my career)

This project might make or break my future in the company, so I could really use some subliminal help.

A Combination of Stark and True Sell could be useful here. Maybe even Chosen for the leadership part, but Stark can handle that also.

I’d start with Stark only, as it can help you come up with novel ways and give you a plan on how to go about it.

Add True Sell later to “sell” your ideas to the company.

It’ll take some time for the sub(s) to start working, it won’t be instant, but these should help.

Stark and Chosen seem like they can help the most with this. If you have a 3rd title you wanna add too then limitless executive could serve you well.

Chosen

True Sell

Chosen

Limitless Execution or The Executive.

In a nutshell : Chosen + True Sell
You can Limitless Executive or the Executive if work ethic is an issue (which I doubt since the the CEO came to you).

EDIT : I understand people who say Stark. Here is my push back. You were not asked to come up with ideas yourself but to lead a team of people that will come up with those ideas. This looks more like a leadership role than an innovation role. Reason why I’d take Chosen over Stark.

I don’t have much advice here but I do have a question.

What’s your title in the company? A lot of what you listed seems like a CEOs responsibility. That broad of an outreach between all departments? That’s a hugely demanding task. I don’t know your company or CEO but that sounds like he’s outsourcing his responsibility onto you.

Now I’m not saying this to put you down but

If there wasn’t a contract or spoken agreement, this seems lose lose. If you do great and boost the company, CEO might take all the credit. If you perform poorly CEO might pin it all on you. I don’t mean to make the pressure worse but I don’t trust a lot of people these days. When you say make or break, what’s the advantage of giving this thing your all?

I get where you are coming from. I don’t feel it like that, everybdoy knows he has given me that task. We call it CEO to the top position in each country, I think that might be a confusion (sorry emglish is not my first language). They eeport to the managing board.

I will hvae exposure ro other.countries and to the managing board. So I dont think the credit is an issue they will all know who I am and the project.

I will only be responsible for the profitability in my country, and one of the managing board members will sponsor it, so that will also give me exposure.

So I think he wont take the credit. In fact as a good point I should give him some credit when things go well to make him invested just in case some things dont go as well.

Ok so TS + chosen are a must

I see a division between stark and limitless executive.

Does stark cover chosen or the other way around? (Leadership wise)

Doesn’t stark already have productovity?

I think TS + chosen + stark would be a great leader inspiring others combo but maybe not enough execution.

While TS + chosen + Limitless Executive might be more productive, kind of “let’s get this sh*t done” kind of leader no?

Am I on the right track?

:superhero: Chosen, :star_struck: Stark and :speaking_head: True Sell seems like a solid stack.

Playing devil’s advocate here. If we look at the objectives for :star_struck: Stark:-

  • Develop an aura that inspires others to follow you but also to innovate and create by themselves – bring out the genius in others and become awe-inspiring.

I don’t think a leader needs that “let’s get this sh-t done” energy, they need to be able to make other people “get sh-t done”. Not that leaders are lazy but that their role is to delegate and lead, not grind at things that people under them could do.

Now that I think about it, I agree with @Beowulf : Stark + Chosen + True Sell looks like the perfect stack.

You are right I messed up, if they could move it to questions, it’d be great

Ok so it seems like TS + Stark + Chosen is the stack to go with.

Thank you all

The main archetypal sub you need is Chosen. It contains all the necessary leadership, rapport, imagination, and presentation abilities for your project.

To study for Business Acumen, develop Strategic Thinking skills, and to generate Valuable Insights, your best tool will be Quantum Limitless.

If necessary, the title for navigating bureaucracy is Power Can Corrupt, not True Sell. Your job isn’t to be charismatic, or to sell a product; it is to make people reveal their secrets to you – ideas, fears, biases, hopes, et al., and to advise the CEO on which Human Resources should be allocated to your chosen initiatives.

:+1:t2:

Avoid Stark – you risk appearing like you want all the credit (fame), or that you’re taking the project too lightly (being funny & oversmart). Also not good for listening (talkative).

Thanks, I feel PPC is more defensive from the description no? If it was “active” (was going to say offensive as opposed to defensive but could be taken negatevely and I don’t mena it that way) meaning using the laws to get advantage (of course without hurting others) I would definetly use it.

But I don’t have any experience with PPC so open to hear from others experiences.
