Remember that at the end of the day it’s not actually about the numbers. It’s about doing what works.
Every program that your brain/mind processes requires energy and bandwidth. That’s the reason for limiting exposure. Your mind has to digest these things, just like your stomach/small intestine etc., have to digest the food that you eat.
The suggested guidelines are generic limitations that ensure that you can avoid the mental “traffic jam” of processing too many concepts at the same time.
So don’t get too caught up in calculating the exact numbers. Use the guidelines, but more importantly pay attention to the feel of your mind and the impact on your mind as you’re processing the programs.
If you’ve come to your next scheduled day, but you can feel that your mind is still “occupied” and seems to still be busily processing, then wait a bit longer before playing again. If your mind is still getting lots of nutrition from the previous play, then there’s no need as yet to “eat another meal” just because the original schedule said to do so.
