Skeptical but curious: How exactly do Subliminal Club programs work?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using Subliminal Club products for about a year now and have listened to four different subliminals. While I’ve definitely seen improvements in my life, I still find myself questioning whether the changes are truly due to the subliminals or if they might just be a placebo effect. Given the number of rip-offs in the spirituality/self-improvement community, and knowing how much can be attributed to placebo, I’d love to get some clearer insights on how these subliminals actually work.

I’m familiar with the community and the research provided on the site, but I feel like the specifics aren’t fully explained, particularly when it comes to the science behind the subliminals and their effectiveness. I also came across a post on Reddit that raised some concerns for me. It mentions a lack of reviews outside of the site, which I’ve also noted, and that the subliminals don’t actually contain words.

Could anyone here offer more clarification? I’m eager to understand the details of how these programs work, and if possible, point me to any resources or studies that might help clear things up.

Thanks!

We need to start writing the reviews outside of this forum, rofl.

If you want reviews, look at the posts here. They are longer & more comprehensive than a few paragraphs in a review site.

You know they are genuine because we don’t keep it “clean”.
If something doesn’t work, or is underwhelming, we say it.

I was very skeptical to SC too for the first few months that i used it, even when the results are clear. Then after getting enough experience, I realized that not only SC works, it works better than any other sub I’ve ever used.

Where did they get the evidence for that claim?

What subs did you use?
Have you never gotten any recon or overload?

How do I notice whether I’m getting recon or overload? I’ve usually been listening to 2 subs 15 mins each, following the schedule.

So far:

  • Genesis
  • Genesis Mogul
  • Nouveau Rich
  • Stark Black Reality

Will start looking deeper into this though and will likely go for some other ones soon.

Have a very good feeling about this as well, just still feels kind of “too good to be true” in some way haha

Just take a random journal and you’ll see proof of the effectiveness. I’m using SC subs now for a year and my life changed dramatically.
From unemployable, not knowing what to do with my life and a pornaddict, to having a side job, being in a training for a high earning job, not having used any porn in half a year, not even struggling and becoming more and more in control of my life.
You’ll find these kind of results in almost any journal.

Yes. I don’t know about the others, but for me, I don’t spend to much any time elsewhere in the Internet talking about Subliminals, when I have the experts here. Also many enjoy the edge SC subs gives them over competitors.

They do. That’s basically all they are. But they are masked in a way that they can’t be heard consciously so they can work subliminal.

You’ve got a link above. Do you need more intel?
Only a handful of people know what’s inside the subs, trade secret and auch. But if you search this forum you can find a few hints in how ZP works. Also on the structure of the subs etc.

Since, he is doubting his results, he definitely had recon.

@felixwinkler refer to this article, just a sneaky form of recon-

and this one too so you are better equipped in future against this -

As for the results, aleast for me whatever I have reported/seen as a result has been nothing but truth. I used to spend my time on youtube subliminals, not getting any results then enters subliminal club. For the first time, I had my doubts, but after 1 month of Emperor I started seeing a shift that was very tangible and fastforwarded to where I am now after some experience with these subliminals, I am instantly able to gauge how the subliminal is changing me, the effect it is causing in my subconscious structures - however, I still have problems when there are some intense emotions present - I am working on it.

After being on 2 years of these subliminals, and understanding the process of growth with subconscious, I am very much convinced that these subliminals are way way league’s beyond any subliminal out there and no one is really beating them. You can also reach there, just start becoming more aware of you reactions/behaviour after listening to subliminal ( don’t get hyper-aware, you get the trick) and jotting them down in a journal helps. Try becoming aware of your emotions and your beliefs and the incidents that led to those beliefs. You will realise the interconnection of these things. And lastly, take action.

If your improvements align closely with the subliminal’s goals and are consistent, they’re likely not just placebo. The placebo effect tends to be more general and less targeted.

The subliminals do contain words, but they’re designed to be below the threshold of conscious perception.

Recon comes in many forms.
Lethargy, anxiety, irritability etc.
For me, what differentiates a recon from a normal emotion is that recon feels like it comes from deep inside. It’s less superficial than normal emotions.
Recon can be subtle too, but it’s hard to figure out whether it’s actually recon or not.
The more subs you use, the better you’ll be able to tell.

Overload is simpler.
Feeling pressured, lethargy, lack of focus etc.
It’s a unique feeling that you can easily spot once you are familiar with it.

I can differentiate it easily because I can’t use the normal 21 on 5 off schedule. The overload near the end of the cycle is too much for me.
But it seems like you don’t get any overload with 2x15m & the normal schedule, so you don’t need to worry too much about it.

This list kinda explains the lack of recon & the doubt about the results.

From what i read in the forum & from my friends’ reviews, The results of wealth subs are not as obvious as others. Personally, it took me a few months at first to realize how effective it is beyond a bit of money here and there.

Genesis & Mogul are easy subs for most. They are the “beginner” subs. You won’t get that much recon from them.

If you don’t get any recon from the 2 above, NR should be easy too.

If you use ASBR after the other 3, it shouldn’t give much recon since you’ve built up the foundation.

That kinda explains the lack of recon

Try running either NR or ASBR for less than 15m.
The shorter the playtime, the more immediate the results come.

Or get a healing sub like Phoenix, Sanguine or Love Bomb.
I find the results from that kind of subs to be the easiest to spot than wealth subs.

Journaling also helps.

That was how i felt too with subliminals in general for a few years, lol.

Testimonies & personal experiences couldn’t convince me at all, but i kept using subs because it costed me nothing to just play it in the background.

Until one time i & my friend decided to play the same sub (not from SC). It was so bad that it equally messed up our lives even when we didn’t contact each others when we were using it.

That brought me to the realization that subs can work, because nothing else could explain the randomness of the shittery that was happening to us.

I went through that phase first before i tried SC. So i was not as skeptical to the effectiveness of subs when i came here

Then when i finally used SC 1.5 years ago, i could immediately tell the difference in speed, depth, naturalness etc compared to subs from other producers. But i was still skeptical about SC back then. Only after a few months of using SC and getting more experience with it that i became convinced about SC’s subs effects.

I started with LBFH & Mogul back then.
LBFH’s effects were way easier to spot than Mogul.
Then i used DRLD & WB.
They sealed the deal for me about SC’s effects.
Both because of the clear effects and the extreme recon i got. I should have listened to the warnings and not jump straight to a heavy artisanal sub like WB, rofl.

Really glad to see you’ve gotten some results! Whether that’s from the subliminals or from your own actions, or both, I don’t even care. It’s just cool to see people setting goals and achieving them.

Let’s start super basic because THIS (quote below) shows that we shouldn’t put the cart in front of the horse.

Obviously subliminals have words in them.

The word subliminal means “below conscious perception”… aka it effects your subconscious mind without affecting your conscious mind. The rain track (mask) you hear has absolutely nothing to do with the subliminal itself. It only masks the subliminal so that it’s heard by your subconscious mind, not your conscious mind.

What are these words.

In essence, they’re suggestions. It’s that simple.

The subliminal industry took off when Tony Robbins started selling subliminals in the late 80’s, early 90’s. If you ever hear someone say “I did everything personal power said and listened to it every day for hours and hours to and from work.” they’re talking about listening to his success tapes and committing to the subliminal routine he set.

What were his subliminals? They were pretty basic. Now we’d call them crap. But hey, it was the 90’s.

They were just simple affirmations, sped up, and lapped up on top of each other, so that you could hear them if you really focused on them, but if you didn’t intensely focus on them the words would lose their meaning and they would kind of just drift into your subconscious.

That was the original “mask…” and the current rain track is just an improvement on that technology.

Why is it important to mask suggestions? Because the subconscious mind believes anything it’s told, whereas the conscious mind always has a judgement.

If you tell yourself every day in the mirror “i am confident…” your subconscious mind may actually receive a different message.

“I am so unconfident that I look myself in the eye every day and try to convince myself I am confident. Only losers do that. I’m a loser.”

That’s why we need to bypass the subconscious mind.

Apart from improving the mask, SubClub and every other producer is also trying to improve the receivability of the suggestions. They found out a long time ago that brute force affirmations simply don’t work very well. The old Q technology that was around at SubClub in 2018, before my time her began, was 8 hours of listening, 5 days a week, or something like that. (Someone who was here for that please correct me if i’m wrong.)

And sure… you could brute force your mind into thinking “i am confident” by hearing that affirmation 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and not even giving yourself space to think “i am not confident” but ultimately, the mind rebels against anything that doesn’t feel natural and self-generated. Nobody likes being told how to feel. Not even, apparently, our brains.

And of course, the question of “do I even agree with the affirmations” comes in to play. If the affirmation is “I powerfully walk into every room I enter and COMMAND the attention of everyone present…” Well… what if you don’t want that? How does a producer make a subliminal that meets everyone’s needs perfectly, is unique to them, and yet can be used by anybody?

That’s where Zero Point comes into play, and while it’s not public about the word for word scripts, what we do know about Zero Point (ZP) is that it helps you mine your own subconscious for the answers, and it’s role is more in terms of asking the questions. I believe this is why the listening time has gone down from 40 hours a week per title to (my listening schedule, at least) about 10 minutes a week per title (3 mins, 3 times per week.)

Repetition isn’t as necessary when you ask your brain a question once, and IT asks ITSELF the question again 1000 more times until it finds the answer.

As for resources/studies, I’m not aware of any subliminal ones, specifically, but there’s been a lot of research done on hypnosis and how effective it is. This might be debatable, but andrew huberman says that it’s by far the most proven method of mental improvement out of everything studied (meditation, yoga nidra, therapy, etc.).

So if you take that and say “hmm, ok, well subliminals are about suggestions, and hypnosis is about suggestions, and subliminals are just a different way of accomplishing the same goals as hypnosis” than you can start to see that even though subliminals themselves are a niche concept, the greater concepts of mental suggestibility are actually incredibly well documented. One difference between hypnosis and subliminals is that subliminals are entirely within your control to mix and match as you see fit, while hypnosis requires a professional.

So I guess the final question… what EXACTLY are these words?!

Well… that’s up to the producer to share or not. It’s like their formula. Their secret recipe. I don’t blame them for not sharing it… if they did, everyone else would copy them. Not just at SubClub, but, all producers, and then eventually all subliminals would be more or less the same, and the uniqueness and individuality of them would be lost.

You don’t taste the soup and ask for the exact ingredients to determine whether or not it REALLY tasted good or if you just tricked yourself into thinking it tasted good because of the marketing or something. You just… taste it… and see if you like it.

And of course make sure there’s no poison in it but you’ve been listening to subliminals and your life has been getting better, not worse, so there’s no poison.

There’s really just a more important question:

Since you started subliminals, has your life improved more than normal? Forget about subliminals and whether or not they had a role, just ask yourself, “am I surprised at the turns my life has taken between now and january?” (if that’s when you started.)

Subliminals are incredible at removing limiting beliefs. Once you remove your limiting beliefs, you start acting like yourself and who you truly want to be. So subliminals oftentimes don’t even feel like the addition of anything. Sometimes they just feel like the removal of what’s unhelpful, making them very difficult to detect sometimes. That’s one of the reasons why taking action is so important - if you’re running a subliminal that removes the blocks stopping you from taking action, but then you don’t take action, what results will you get? And who’s fault is that?

With that being said, if you struggle to take action, my favorite subliminal is Limitless Executive, which makes taking action feel easy.

Fear is what holds us back, it also what makes life interesting.

We fear we’ll fail because we’re not good enough. We fear we’ll lose our relationships, that we’ll be abandoned, that we’ll be rejected … because we’re not good enough. We fear intimacy for the very same reason — we might get rejected because we’re not good enough. Even the fear of success is based on the worry that we’re not good enough.

“Every time we choose safety, we reinforce fear.” – Cheri Huber

The truth is simple and stark, the voice of destructive fear controls most of our thoughts and behaviors. It does its toxic work at an unconscious level, so we often aren’t even aware of its negative pull.

Destructive fear has enormous power to control many aspects of our life. But we have an incredible power to face our fears and use them to our benefit. The positive side of fear has the power to change our life for the better.

The subs will help you handle your fears. You may have experienced some of them while listening to the titles. The subs will not be able to erase all your fears but you become better prepared once you confront them.

Just be aware on those ‘fears’ then it will melt away.

What I usually do is I focus only on things that I want and ignore the rest.

There’s a great audiobook called Hands on Healing, by William Bengston. It’s a great run through of a true skeptic. He says most skeptics aren’t actually skeptics at all. They’re believers either in something or that something isn’t so. Required listening in my book. He goes over his method of a healing technique, though it’s hard to explain and even hard to imagine. But the guy did studies in university settings. He would only choose individuals to participate in his studies if they laughed at what he told them the study was. He didn’t want people who believed in it at all. Well, to sum it up he has the data and the results from his own university studies. Controlled studies as good as it gets stuff. Just a great listen. I won’t say what he was studying because it’s even challening for me to wrap my head around, despite my own experiences of things that I would never expect anybody to believe, things that had nothing to do with subliminals, but with subliminals I took the approach of I’m going to find out for myself.

Anyway for most of us, we don’t have the connections or resources to do our own studies. There are just things that don’t get studied. Because it hasn’t been studied doesn’t mean it lacks merit or evidence. So yes, sadly, we have to rely on our own experiences with the subliminals. I’m someone who is on the side of the fence that, based on my own experience, subliminal club titles work and they work for me. Maybe not every single one is a home run for me, but that’s the part of getting in touch with ourselves, knowing where our inner compass is really pulling or nudging us. But I think even if I didn’t know what title was best I tried something I wanted to try and I learned from that. Maybe it’s like anything else, I’m not going to change anyone’s mind, I don’t need to. I’m having fun and learning a lot with what’s on my plate already.

If the program descriptions, the support articles, the 28-day Masterclass, your own year of experiences, and the thousands of posts on this forum aren’t enough, I’m not sure what else would help.

What else do you need to hear?

The scientific principle underlying subliminals is uncomplicated.

In short:

Specially worded messages are presented to you beneath the threshold of your awareness.

Done. That’s it.

The genius is in the details of design and execution. And those details are proprietary and differ from one company to the next.

You’re not going to get those.

So that’s it. You’ve got the information.

But you’re still here on that exact same site asking this question. This is the same site as the one with the reviews that you don’t accept. We, the people answering you on this thread, are the source of those same reviews.

So how will the answers you get here be any different?

Look. You do not have to use these programs. You can decide not to use them. It’s okay.

I personally wouldn’t think any worse of you. I think most of the people I know and love do not use them. I do not despise these people, nor do I spend all day trying to convince them to use subliminals.

But your question feels disingenuous to me.

To have reviewed all of the above information and to then state that “the specifics aren’t fully explained”.

That strikes me as strange.
