Should I create a new Custom to run with ZP?

@SaintSovereign and others who might know…

I created a custom when they first came out. I don’t think QV2 existed at that time. Did it?

From the massive ZP thread, it appears ZP works amazingly well in magnifying the effects of a QV2 sub.

I assume all or most of the modules in the custom store are now QV2. Is that the case?

If so, would it be worth redoing my custom with QV2 versions of my same modules to run with the two ZP tracks I’ll be buying?

Note: My custom focuses on wealth and productivity. I plan to get ChosenZP and RICHZP. I could just run HoM; or even my curretn custom with them. But I’m wondering if an updated Custom (assuming QV2 availability there) would be better.

Your custom would be Qv1

All the modules are Qv2

I would try out the custom with ZP first and then make a decision or There’s been a bunch of new modules since then so you could improve the custom

Followup question…

If I built a new custom but used only the modules I already licensed, would those modules all now be QV2? Or would I need to buy the QV2 versions of those.

I know standard tracks are updated to current versions for free but I don’t think I’ve read if that’s also the case for custom modules.

Yes, all those modules would be Qv2

The module updates are free, just not the custom upgrade

i wouldnt … it was suggested stacking

Can you clarify what you mean by that?

@Kaprice, @StateOfBeing - the Q Store had modules written in Q format or a format which we can say is compatible with Q tech (not specifically Qv1 or Qv2).

Only the build was different. As in when building, earlier, the custom became Qv1 and now when you build, the custom becomes Qv2.

It isn’t really necessary to update your custom to Qv2 but intuition tells me there might be a difference if you do upgrade your Qv1 custom custom to Qv2.

By how much difference? I personally wouldn’t know how QZP affects the older customs.

Interesting. I really had the impression that the Qv2 was more than just the technological way they build them. I mean, they actually updated the download files on tracks we’ve already purchased to Qv2. It doesn’t make sense that they’d do that if it was just the build process.

Hmmm… I’ll have to look into that more.

You are right that Qv2 is much better than Qv1. But what am wondering is how QZP will affect a Qv1 custom VS how QZP affects a Qv2 custom.

Because QZP is much much more. Will it pull either version of the custom high and make the difference negligible? That’s what people will be testing in the Preview.

All I know is that in the ZP thread, Saint only refers to how powerful ZP is when stacked with a QV2 title. He never mentions V1.

Oh someone did ask whether they can run their Qv1 custom with QZP and the answer was yes.

The reason why Qv2 is mentioned is because most people have Qv2 customs by now.
