Seductress journey

Thanks for your message :white_heart:
Yes, EMDR is very powerful tool one shall use carefully. I hope it helping you. Have yout tried vagus nerve exercises btw? If you you coping with that too, it helps a lot.

Regarding EMDR, I studied protocol myself, and tried it on little everyday trauma or just as combined with meditation before. Also brainspotting, which is similiar to EMDR, same principle, but person shall rememeber trauma and search for the spot of glance direction which would hit the most, and keep looking that direction untill there is release instead of going side to side, Ive done that too and my anxety went from high to zero. Some people that feel stuck with EMDR, find more release with brainspotting.

I did session yesterday, and many things popped up, but reprocessing them with my current state and mindset was easier, it almost got to neutral, will see how that unfold. Id say if it bothered me at 7 points, now its 3.
Thankfully, I dont have very big T (trauma), mine was mainly bullying, which makes it easier. People from more unfortunate background ofc shall seek for more professional guidance, I’d not recommend to risk to anyone

So much room for an imagination

I was reading online about people questioning if these modalities would work on repressed trauma from early childhood. To access and gather any blocked memories to safely process.

What are your thoughts on that?

I think it can certainly help, but everyone have their own tempo to get there. I’ve heard many people eventually getting into deeply stored trauma. For instance, there was a case from psychologist that I know, the client got into such deep brain caves, that relived his early trauma he blocked. That was described by the doctor as strike of emotions, client almost even attacked him, then forgot it and later said 'I dont remmeber what happened, but now i feel completly free and at peak point of good feeling in my life". Those memories and trauma can resurface even with person didnt realise this, and initially coming with something else

You’re welcome! It’s definitely helped me out. The hardest part has honestly been acknowledging I have trauma and c-ptsd. I have all the symptoms, my therapist said I struggle with it, and yet my mind constantly goes hmmmm no I don’t think it’s that bad. So things are quite hidden from me at times.

But I haven’t tried vagus nerve exercises yet. I have definitely heard of them though. Do you have any recommendations that work well for you?

Acknowledging is a big part of growth. Don’t forget to give your inner child a hug, sometimes I rememeber myself as little girl, and give myself mental hug. Which helps in accepting and understending and cultivating self love, which fuels recovery.

There are plenty of variations.

What works best so far (first few besides Nadi and Vagus reset need moderation and some knowledge before starting practicing, you can overdo/do wrong) and cause damage instead of benefits, But learn this is pretty simple.

Must:

Buteyko breathing, which was developed in USSR by Russian scientist, which made huge breakthrough in understanding of health and treating disease of many kinds (physical and mental). More to that: https://www.normalbreathing.com/
After more than a year of practicing it, I came up with my own variation which works the best to calm vagus nerve. Thats a combination of Nadi yoga breathing Assessment of the Effects of Pranayama/Alternate Nostril Breathing on the Parasympathetic Nervous System in Young Adults - PMC , you can start with that actually. Thats the alternate nostril breathing. What I do is mix principle of breathing retraining of Buteyko and alternate breathing of Nadi. What I do is just holding my breath in between inhalations.

Emotional trauma release exercise (TRE) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeUioDuJjFI
My friends also reported massive improvments

Vagus nerve reset https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFV0FfMc_uo

Boosting serotonin. Studies reveal that people that have lower serotonin level are more prone to get ptsd, after getting it into higher to norm levels, majority got massive relief. What best and safe for that is St. John’s Wort herb supplements. ( you shall not take any additional serotinin drugs to not get the toxicity)

Additional:

tapping (butterfly or face meridiane) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Gbb9P-xqSHw

** Sadhu board (standing on nails)/acupuncture
Besides being spiritual instrument of yogi, Sadhu also stimulates all areas and organs of body while you stand on it. it release deep rooted emotions. When I started practicing, there was euphoria momets.
Trauma also stored in body, also in certain acupuncture points that can reflect it, good trained master can identify the precise spot and after working with that, release will follow. Many report massive benefits for trauma, depression etc Somatic experience also helps a lot Somatic Experiencing - Rennet Wong Gates Therapy Services in Aurora (not an ad for the center, just demonstrating the approach to trauma in article))

Thank you! I experimented with buteyko breathing a few years back. I wasn’t consistent enough with it. But it definitely has some immediate anxiety relief effects on me. I just found it really really hard to control that reflexive response to inhale more oxygen. I also tried TRE for a bit but I overdid it on that one and had a really rough experience so ive been focusing on less directly physical forms of trauma release. I will definitely be trying the vagus nerve reset though.

Welcome
Yes, relaxation is big part of practicing Buteyko. As meditation. Thats why I came up with alternate nostril breathing combining with buteyko training, alternate nostril alone in 5 minutes can put you into balanced state and hormonise vagus nerve. And i had blocked breathing for the big part of my life, as i was chronically in alert state of nervous system. I practice in anywhere through the day) TRE yeah, I heard people overdo it and lately need take extensive break to resume. Wish you success, you can do it :white_heart:

Did Tarot reading of my personality, I used to have sense of ā€œno identityā€ at times.
What I got is currently what I feel and transformed into with subliminals and self work.
In short
Empress is powerful earthy grounded femininity
High Priestess is about unearhty, intuitive, as they name it - ā€˜devine’ femininity. Spirituality.
Which I am looking to balance in myself - earth and cosmic spiritual energies and harmonious life in between two worlds.
Page of cups is for poetic feelings, joy, inner child, dreamer and romantic
Thats why I stack RoM and Seductress, for that balance
Thats a big change for me, as I had trouble being grounded or feel that feminine power in the past.

What about yin yoga?

To swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human. :notes: (Lateralus by Tool)

This has been a big one for me since almost being put in the psych ward in 2020 because I was super ungrounded between the two worlds.

It can become a beautiful dance :dancer:

On my to do! Lol. I think you recommended me some stuff before I just gotta follow through. I got a free yoga mat last weekend then left it behind :frowning: it was the quickest manifesting that slipped right through my fingers. But I took it as a sign.

Sorry for detailing your journal @Xandra !

Little update.
Psychological changes.
I took professional test for temperament.
What I got:
Now: Ambivert (in between extroversion and introvertion, golden middle ground as they name it)
Before: Introvert

Temperament: there 4 of them (Choleric/Phlegmatic/Sanguine/Melancholic)
Now: And here I got to be in between all of them, which means i combine the golden middle ground here, a little from each.
Before: Melancholic

Its huge shift as all my life ive been prone to Melancholy, and I really do feel as different person more each day. Keep going to see whats next :relaxed:

PMS and PMDD are completely gone this month. I follow better stricter diet as well.
Last few months I had pmdd (next, more serious stage of pms: depression, even suicidal thoughts, easily driven to tears, irritability etc)
This months I feel 97% free from it

Seductress keeps amaze me.
My body has changed even further, even my partner noticed this and complimented:
Breast got bigger and firmer and he actually was as ā€œomgā€
Same goes for buttocks.
Shorter and less painful periods. Almost zero PMS
Skin I got even better products for my skin, and they cheap, so I intuitevly pick somthing optimal without hurting my wallet. The other day I woke up and when saw myself in the mirror I was genuinely thinking "Did I forgot to wash my face and I have foundation on (makeup camouflage for skin)?
Dont mean to sound as narcissist, but it truly impressed me, as usually I wake up with uneven skin tone which i never liked.
Recently visited my family, the dont’t give this fake comliments for the sake of saying something nice, they would rather point out something whats not good about you.
During our dinner they gave me few compliments in the process:
’ your hair looks so good (color, haircut, texture) ( I had somehow crappy hair, and now I can attest I got optimal shampoo and care for now, it got looking more silky and curly as I wanted)
"You look like your are in your teenage years (not in a bad way)" And I am in early 30s
"You have mysterious aura" (which was a good thing, and I like to have it)

I feel way more beautiful and feminine, like blossom flower. And people watch me in public places more too. There is still way to go further and beyond. But what I achieved in this 3 months simply magic.

I am really grateful :white_heart:

From now on with this results I feel that there is a need to concentrate more on boosting my cognitive abilities, thinking and creativity. I will ease on seductress a bit (possibly one loop per week or so)
And concentrate on emotional healing and intellect (QL/RoM/Reg program)
