Yup you raise a very good point and I think that’s why a multistager would be good. Freedom to pick and choose what the focus is. I could see it as a huge benefit for targeting areas that could use work. Like someone really good at sound design but their writing and arrangement skills give them trouble. Which seems to be the trap a lot of music producers fall into lol
I see what you did there
My main issue is
Frankly I would say manifest the perfect soundbank/ so w stop sound design shit
What I am looking for is the gift to create and innovate on new music genres. Creating something new but relevant. I remember when Animals by Martin Garrix came out the first time I was like wtf.
Lol. That’s why I went minimalist. Computers were no good for my creativity.
That’s a really lofty goal but I admire it. I think for me if I can just get to pure self expression without worrying about being worried about having some genre defining stuff I’d be ok with that. Regardless of genre I just want to sound like “me”.
I only dabbled making beats… I had Rolland drum machine & sampler
That would undoubtedly be a great idea!
Exactly. Quite simple in explanation. In execution, very complex. But still, leaning into this process mirrors life itself, as well as the way we naturally learn new things.
Undetermined. It is still in early development. We have an idea of what it will be, but it needs to be fleshed out.
Done.
How many here are active music producers? By that, I mean you actively work on honing your craft and are releasing songs?
I usually am. But things have quieted down since summer 2023. I’m trying to get other parts of my life together. I know the music is always there in the background though. It’s been there for my whole life.
also shout-out to @Grasping_infinity. a great music producer on here.
I have severe ADHD and I don’t think about the list even if someone brings it up
He says that now but we all know he’s secretly working on a funk disco country polka album
Fusion is a beautiful thing though. One of my favorite artists does a bluegrass/black metal thing
My Wife is a fan of a Mongolian Heavy Metal band.
You mean release professionally? I try to be as active as I can be but I’ve had a lot of stuff in my life coming up thats pumping the brakes on my music. I try to work on it as much as possible but it’s definitely one of those things where I have a lot of blocks to having it be a bigger part of my life.
The Hu, right?
They’re pretty bad-ass.
Integrate Mongolian overtone singing into their music.
That’s them.
I used to make binaural/isochronic entrainment audios. Would this help with that if I got back into that? Or is that too far outside the idea of “music”?
Not into making music but am suddenly watching one David Guetta music video after the other after more than a decade.
Must be presults.
