“I keep having the same reoccurring dream that I am stranded a considerable distance from home with no resources to resolve my situation. I have no idea what this means”
It’s never the same place just the same theme
Any idea what this means and what I need to work on?
I would tip on hopeless/inability to change the situation.

It might be your subconscious telling you that you’re trying to look for solutions externally and rely on them to reach that “one point” of fulfillment and content, when in reality, you don’t need them.
Look within, you’re much more whole than you realize, but you’re probably self sabotaging yourself by having thought patterns like “I will be able to do this once X sub is out” or “I can only feel that when I run X sub”, which is why you’re stranded away from home, but you’re not getting there because you’re trying to reach by relying on something, instead of looking inwards and relying on yourself instead.

I was having similar thoughts today, seems like in general too much power is given away to the subs instead of viewing them as tools. Good tools as they are the power lies within with the wielder of the tools.
