Mood music: “Moon” from Kanye West’s latest album, DONDA.
This is the oddest and most profound title I’ve ever run. I can’t exactly describe exactly what it’s doing, but I can definitely feel an incredible synergy between UTEOT and SG, manifesting in the form of spontaneous flashes of new knowledge and wisdom that seemingly emerges from nowhere. What’s weird is the fact that these moments of enlightenment are very fleeting and unless I stop what I’m doing to write down what I’m seeing in my mind’s eye, the knowledge fades away.
The first few days, I missed out on a lot of insights because of this. A few days ago, I began carrying a notebook with me EVERYWHERE in order to capture my thoughts. I happened to stumble across a book in the most random of ways (has to be Sage Immortal) that, after reading, has helped us finish our model of how the subconscious mind works. We’re so excited about this that we’re having to force ourselves to slow down and review the data a bit longer before jumping straight into building a prototype.
Here’s the issue: It’s a drastic change from what we were planning with Q+, but if this works, it may even put that to shame. @Fire and I met this morning to strategize how we’d approach this. Right now, we’re planning on testing this “side build” and scripting method by converting one of our major titles into a public prototype (suggestions welcome). Once we receive sufficient data from that test, we’ll create a “hybrid” between this unnamed technology and what we’ve already developed for Q+, then see which works better.
The bad news is that we’re going to have to push Q+ back a bit, because we HAVE to explore this new framework because the potential is that great. But, I also want to temper expectations, because it may take multiple prototypes to get the results we want.
And… if it doesn’t work, we still have Q+, which we already know produces superior results. Ask anyone running Sage Immortal – we’ve got some Q+ tech in there. It’s not the FULL Q+ experience, but @Fire expertly incorporated some of the Q+ foundation in there.
Stay tuned.
