Everything will be updated soon. We’re just working on something else that’s taking some priority right now. I’ll probably drop something tomorrow, though. Get one more goodie in before the New Year.

It’ll be an upgrade, not a new title, lol.

My money is on an upgrade to Ascension Chamber.

Putting the cognitive enhancement in RoM to the ultimate test. One of the strategy games I always avoided because it looked way too complicated.

Total War: Warhammer 3 – Immortal Empires. Let’s see how this goes.

With the available store version? Or another Saint-specific custom?

Store version, which is an upgrade from the test version / prototype.

How did it go brother?

I got wiped out, that’s what happened :joy:

That being said, I noticed a clear enhanced ability to understand the game mechanics, especially the empire building part. The war mechanic is still a bit confusing, but again, I was able to grasp what was happening on an intuitive level and I feel like I’ll be about to do much better after a few more sessions.

My issue is while the game is fun, it’s not necessarily the type of game I play, especially for cognitive purposes. While it’ll definitely make you smarter, it leaves me drained, due to the ever present underlying sense of stress while playing.

It does make me wonder if we’ve under promoted Gaming Mastery X. Also gives me more ideas for a redesign of it…

Overall, yes, I noticed a strong positive influence from RoM.

This game especially this mode can be a lot lol. Total war games are usually much less complicated but once you add fantasy to the mix it can be a bit all over the place… So many unit types and classes plus the counters and making sure you have the right units to counter what lol.

It is one of those games where 1 little mistake in anything can lead to massive consequences long term game wise even little things like moving a unit too much or too little.

Haha, stress from high pressure is draining. I’ve gotten better in Overwatch 2, but ai’ve also noticed if I play insanely, I can only keep it up for like 5-10 matches.

Definitely hoping and excited for GMX ZP2 version🙏, and whatever other upgrades are coming for it.

Enjoying it so far, especially with RoM and ME.

Regarding GMX, I don’t know what to ask more from it. It improves your gaming skills and helps you make a living from your skills. May I ask what ideas popped up?

Yeah, that’s how it started, lol. Everything was going well until I walked a little too far into Skaven (I think that’s the race, some little rat dudes) territory and they had the most over the top reaction to it, hahaha. I was playing with @Fire, who is a veteran of the Total War: Warhammer series and even he was questioning why they went full on scorched earth to try and wipe me out.

GMX was based off the Limitless scripting base. I’m thinking with the update, it’s going to be based on Mind’s Eye and the RoM cognitive scripting, just geared toward gaming mastery.

Can you also make a Sub on Chess

Yeah, I prefer a sci-fi setting over fantasy too. The dialogue in the fantasy setting is hilarious, though. I kept cracking up at the other lords’ lines when they were mad at me. Walk down the wrong mountain and a declaration of war pops up with some weird demon screaming, “I shall drink thine blood you useless snow baboon dwelling underling, whom I have NO good thoughts of!”

Another hilarious moment.

When @Fire got ambushed by some group and I was spectating his battle. Since I was spectating, I could see the entire map. From Fire’s perspective, the fog of war was covering the rest of the map. Fire had asked me not to spoil anything, since we were playing a free-for-all mode and without a treaty, we were technically enemies. So, imagine as I had to stifle my giggles as he’s fighting his behind off, not knowing the enemy secretly had this descending on his position:

Perhaps sometime next year, we should do a “play with Saint and Fire” event or something.

Wow that is a nasty surprise that went his way… are those Greenskins or skaven?

What difficulty were you guys playing on?

Free for all on Immortal Empires sound like it would be really interesting especially if you and the other person start on opposite sides of the map.

I did that except i was playing the Empire and i went a little bit into Bretonnian lands… we “had” an alliance but not military access… they declared war on me … Needless to say the game went to hell on a hand basket after that lol

Not quite sure: I think it was a Chinese-inspired faction. But I think we were playing on “Normal.” @Fire was recommending that we played on Easy since I’m new, but I pushed the higher difficulty.

On another note, RoM is definitely showing me how to relax and let go. I used to make everything into a method of self-improvement, including games. I’d only play games that seemed to have a tangible measure. Now I’m trying games for no other reason than unwinding and relaxing with friends. So…

Divine Knockout is my new jam.
