Question on the upgrades

I understand that SC are planning to upgrade the ultimas to “b variants”. Will we also be getting b variants for the Q core products ?.

The reason I ask is that I am holding back from building a physical change ultima till they release the new tech.

it think the b variants are just a change in the ultima core not a upgrade, so no Q core change when it comes to major core but the ultima core in the q store would be change since he did say that there will be a discount for those who build a ultima already. that what they are trying to figure out i feel right now

Hmm,think only ultima is getting a core upgrade not normal q.Think next upgrade would be Q+ for the non-ultima products.the b variant only affects the mandatory ultima core so the modules in the Q store wont need to be changed.

The cores don’t really need upgrading. When you build an Ultima title, we automatically add a core called the “Ultima Core,” which binds together all of the disparate modules and makes things work better. That’s what’s been changed. And yes, same thing occurs with Q, Terminus and T2 subs. That one is called the “Mandatory Core,” which goes in every custom sub. Has the same purpose.

Naw, not Ultima+. This new core is a scripting upgrade. Ultima+ is build upgrade.
