Is it worth having multiple certificates even if they overlap? Full Stack?Web Development? HTML? Python?
Honestly, what matters more is what you build and that you can build more than certificates.
Your projects are your certifications. Web development is one of those things where a person who has built something will most likely be hired over someone with certificates but not actual projects.
In all web dev interviews I have been to, the interviewers were far more excited by any passion projects I built more than certificates that came along with it.
Other than that, to answer your question directly, it won’t matter as long as you can build projects using them
Full stack development will definately encompass html, CSS and frontend javascript. In regards to python, it depends if that particular course is using that language on the backend.
If I was to choose between the three, I would choose the full stack course and then build 3-5 projects to showcase my skills.
Or one better, build projects and monitize them, making a business out of it. Even if you look for a job after it’s monitized, employers will be far more impressed
Coding is kind of learning on the go skills, you shouldn’t try to learn & get too many certificates, which is only good at the beginning. Without real/dirty hand on real coding problems you cannot go long or develop the career path.
Out of those certificates, I advice you aim for FullStack because it automatically include everything you will need to know about coding. But I can say it will takes at least 1 year to know full stack, you must learn on the go and solving real problems.
The certs themselves mean absolutely nothing other than showing you sat at a desk long enough to go through some classes.
Certs are a sort of shorthand for that.
What matters is the skills/abilities/tools you pick up along the path.
The more useful tools you have in your toolbox, the better
I’ve heard of the certs like A+ and MCSE. Are these still relevant?
The achievements is just one thing, how you used the learning experience is more important.
Enjoy as much as you can learn but also share those to others.
Certificates are only useful if you actually have experience and contraryto popular belief getting a entry level tech job and experience is very easy just most people are too lazy to actually put in the work to make it happen.
